ELENA: ALMOSTELENA: --ELENA: YOU CAN CHECK OUT SOME REALLY BIG FACES. 80 LARGER-THAN-LIFE PORTRAITS, ALL OF THEM PEOPLE FROM PITTSBURGH THAT HE HAS MET ALONG THE WAY. ALL AGES, NATIONALITIES, AND WALKS OF LIFE IN ONE GALLERY UNDER ONE ROOF. >> THE SHOW WAS SUPPOSED TO BE MARCH 13, 2020, THE WEEK OF THE SHUTDOWN. HAD TO CANCEL IT. I WAS UNHAPPY FOR THE REASONS BUT I WAS PSYCHED BECAUSE A SAW THE POTENTIAL TO DO MORE. AND WHEN BLACK LIVES MATTER HAPPENED, COVID, CRAZY POLITICAL STUFF HAPPENED, IT WAS MY WAY OF REACHING OUT AND TO TRY TO MEET PEOPLE. ELENA: THE PORTRAITS WILL FILL BEDFORD AVENUE FOR THE NEXT THREE WEEKS. YOU PROBABLY CAN’T MISS IT, BUT TAKE A LOOK AT YOUR SCREEN.

'Really Big Faces' exhibit hits Pittsburgh's Hill District
You can check out some really big faces decorating part of Pittsburgh’s Hill District. Artist Tom Mosser has created 80 larger-than-life portraits: All of them are people from Pittsburgh that he's met along the way. All ages, nationalities and walks of life sit in one gallery, under one roof. “The show was supposed to be on March 13, 2020. The week of the shutdown,” Mosser told us. “So I had to cancel it. I was unhappy for the reason, but I was really psyched because I saw the potential to do more. And when happened, gender identity issues happened, COVID, crazy political stuff happened, it was my way of reaching out to the world and sending out some positivity and frankly to try to meet people because it was tough during those times."The portraits will fill the Energy Innovation Center on Bedford Avenue for the next three weeks. Among the faces is one well known to WTAE Channel 4 viewers. Take a look at the video above for more.
