Appearance

I have never had a terrarium so was not too sure if it would be large enough for what I wanted. This "medium" size glass jar terrarium is perfect! Since I needed plants for it (not wanting to shop during the pandemic) I was able to order 8 small 6 inch plants on line and they are perfect for it. I installed four farey figures among the plants and I am very happy. Two small cons: 1) the cork lid does not fit securely and 2) the affixed label on the glass is a real bear to get off. All in all an excellent indoor garden.

Perfect size for small indoor faery garden

I love this terrarium. The size is great. I can fit almost anything in it and the size of the mouth is perfect to fit your hand down into to manipulate whatever it is that you're putting inside. It will be perfect to change out the inside for the seasons. I'm very happy with it.

Perfect decorating accessory

So I loved this container. I was able to make a terrarium out of it. The dip in the neck allows the plant's respiration allows condensation to drip back into the center of the container.

Built for terrarium life

This terrarium is perfect as a fish bowl for my little Tetras.  I added a stand and love the look!

Perfect fish bowl!

This is the cutest Terrarium! It measures approximately 9.5” wide 10.5” to the top of the glass lip, 11” to the top of the cork. The neck is about 4” at the most narrow point. It's very clear glass that is easy to look into. The cork top is 1 1/8” thick and has a twine pull that comes through a small hole on the top. I have so many plans for it! The problem is, I can't decide which idea I want to go with. First my goal was to put live plants in it using it as a traditional closed terrarium, but then I began to see other possibilities also. This would make a very nice snack bin for older children or adults who can be safe around glass, it would make a nice storage container for sugar or flour if you do a lot of baking like I do. It would also be the cutest decoration to put miniature fake plants and figures in to keep as a maintenance free terrarium. It would also be super cute to put Christmas tree bulbs and miniature led lights in for the holidays. The nicest thing about it is that it's a simple design that can be reused for other things in the future. This is a great item that I expect to have many years of enjoyment from! I highly recommend this product.

Very versatile terrarium/container

This is a big, beautiful glass jar. There is a very nice huge cork that goes in the top. Better looking than in the picture. I use this as a fish tank. Not a good picture.

Big glass jar

I really love this jar for a terrarium it looks nice too. It even works good as a closed terrarium I watered once and every morning you can see the dew around the glass keeping the plants moist but not soggy, just right.the evening too . I bought 3 of them  it's just the right size also.

Top came stuck in and had to use some heat to make it expand and be able to remove it but overall very happy with this bottle. Used to make a very pretty terrariun

Beautiful terrarium

the glass is WAY too thin!!! i had a great setup in mine and i knocked a small 1' terracotta pot over and it slightly nicked the side causing the whole top to shatter all over my plants inside. id honestly find a better product or you will regret wasting your money. the company needs to provide a stronger glass to make this worth anyones time and money. i have 3 other jars all from the thrift store that havent broken even when im not being gentle. that to me says something about the glass quality.

dont waste your money

The bottom cracked and broke off ruining the terrarium and wasting materials.  Loved the looks so bought a replacement hoping the second would be better.  After one day moved it holding it by the bottom and the bottom cracked on this one too.  Do not buy if you plan to use as a terrarium.
