About the MAP
In Poland, the European Rural Development Network (ERDN) coordinates the Multi-Actor Platform Zachodniopomorskie. This platform, which operates at the regional level, will focus on analysing contemporary trends in land use and identifying relationships between climate change and land use.
The aim of the discussion will be to develop recommendations for decision makers on directions for supporting land use management to enhance adaptation and mitigation of climate changes in the region. This will enable the creation of a common long-term vision for building resilience, adaptive capacity, and transformation of rural communities.
Objectives
The activities of this MAP are designed to achieve the following specific objectives:
- MAP objective 1: Identification of challenges and opportunities for land management in a changing climate.
- MAP objective 2: Identification of land management practices conducive to the implementation of climate change adaptation and mitigation actions in Zachodniopomorskie region.
- MAP objective 3: Identification policy measures needed to implement required land use changes.
