New LAPD chief

New Los Angeles Police Chief Charlie Beck with his parents, retired LAPD Deputy Chief George Beck and wife Alma after their son was sworn in as the new chief in City Council Chambers Tuesday morning. The council unanimously approved Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa‘s nomination at the hearing.
