The last sizzling novel in Kristen Proby's Romancing Manhattan series finds a widower falling deeply in love again with a woman who has scars of her own.

When Carter Shaw’s wife died five years ago, he was left to pick up the pieces not only of his own broken heart but also that of his devastated eight-year-old daughter, Gabby—leaving him with no time for anything else, let alone dating. But recently, Carter has noticed women again and soon even begins dating. No one has stuck around for long, mostly thanks to one very angry Gabby.

Nora Hayes has worked as Carter’s assistant for years. Recently divorced herself, Nora spends many hours at the office and helping Carter with his daughter whom she adores. Despite loving her job and being wrapped up in the Shaw family, Nora’s never given her handsome, kind workaholic boss a second thought, especially in the romance department.

But then the snowstorm of the century hits, and Nora finds herself stranded at work with Carter overnight. And suddenly, she sees Carter in a whole new, sexy light. The sadness that’s lived in his eyes for so long has now been replaced with pure, unadulterated lust—and Nora isn’t quite sure what to do about it. For after the pain of her divorce, she never thought she would give love a second chance.

Carter and Nora have always believed in never combining business with pleasure. But how can they possibly deny the all-consuming chemistry between them...?

Favorite Quotes:

I have hard copies of everything, in case the power goes out or there’s a zombie apocalypse. Prepared is an understatement for what I am.

“I beg your pardon,” Mary demands just as Sienna snickers beside me. “You can beg for it, but I’m not going to give it,” I reply,

That man is hotter than July in Hades.

I don’t think anything in the world compares to the venom a twelve-year-old can spew in your face. Maybe I should call my own mother and apologize for once being twelve myself.

I’ve never loved anyone else the way I do you, Nora. You will never know a day when you’re unloved by me, because your soul is so tangled in mine, there will never be a time that I’d let you go.

My Review:

Oh, swoon, I adore Kristen Proby, her characters are always an entertaining mix of smart and sassy as well as being a bit frayed and endearingly flawed. I was besotted with this couple, they were swoon and smirk-worthy with a sweet and steamy yet well functioning boss/employee relationship. The painfully handsome single-dad boss was lost without his plucky assistant - during and after hours. Written in my favorite dual POV, the engaging storylines were fresh, amusing, and relatable as well as hitting all the feels between the sizzle, clever banter, and the heavier and more volatile family issues. I had not read the previous installments in this enticing series and didn’t need to, although I am definitely feeling the pull to delve into them as well.

I do not like this book. I read the previous book and at that time I thought it was OK. After All fails me. It is supposed to be about Manhattan. But I do not get a vibe about the infamous neighbourhood at all in this book.

There is no character development. The characters falls into insta lust right away. Even the single dad trope can not help the story to be more interesting.

There is min angst/ drama in this book. The steamy scenes are not even hot. It feels cold.

After All is the third and final book in in Kristen Proby's Romancing Manhattan series. This is the story that I've been dying for since I started this series and I'm actually happy that Carter's story was the one we get end on. Even though the wait just about killed me.

Carter is a widower with a pre-teen daughter that we've seen through some dicey times. Nora is his assistant who has always been there for him, for both work and personal matters. They had a bit of an awkward start to their relationship and neither knew how to deal with their newly developed feelings for one another, which I thought was great. It really made the story interesting and I loved seeing Carter so unsure on how to flirt with Nora.

Their relationship was pretty easy and definitely sweet, but there were also some angsty times which captivated me. I liked that they could fall into a different type of relationship with such ease but that they still had some fumbles and had to work at changing their relationship into something more than just work related. There were many moments that Carter and Nora had me smiling like a loon at just how cute they were and it was just one of the many things I loved about this book.

Widower father to a pre-teen.
Recently divorced executive assistant.
Assistant has been there for the hero and his daughter since the mother’s passing in a work and friendship capacity. She’s already weaved into their life, and one day the way she’s blended in changes.

I thought that After All was good. It’s pretty easy street sugary sweet, but there are some angsty misunderstanding moments that keep it interesting f. Nora and Carter both have these budding feelings for each other, but they both try to keep them at bay because they are boss and assistant and they just work so well together already. Nora is there for Carter and his daughter, and she loves her job. She’s worked hard for her job, and her independence after divorce, so she doesn’t want to ruin all of that to give into lusty feelings. Carter is more on the side of let’s see how this goes, but at some point they both agree to take it to the next step and start dating. If you want to know more, then I suggest you pick this one up in July.

This is the third book in the series, but it can definitely be read and understood standalone. That being said I definitely plan to go back and read the other brothers stories, because I enjoyed them and their heroines personalities in this book.

If you’re looking for a well written contemporary romance, that’s more sweet than angsty, then you will enjoy After All!

After All is the final book in the Romancing Manhattan series by Kristen Proby. In this edition the reader gets the story of Carter, powerful lawyer, single dad, and widower, and Nora, his assistant!

Nora has been Carter's assistant for 10 years. Its always been professional; Nora was there for him when his wife died 5 years before. But, there is a shift in their relationship. Carter discovers he is attracted to Nora and wants to explore it. However, the man is an idiot. He has to understand women better than this (I mean, he was married before so at some point he used to have game). He says some seriously dumb things! Nora is pretty forgiving of most of his missteps. I am glad she stood her ground at least a few times at the end of the story. He needed to learn that his actions and reactions must change!

Gabby is Carter's 12 year old daughter. She has been going through a LOT and has been acting out. As a reader, your heart goes out to her: she is missing her mom, she is about to be a teenager and all that comes with it, and she is conflicted about her dad's new relationship.

After All has lots going on throughout the story-trapped together for a night in a snow storm, Gabby's mood swings, bitchy coworkers-but the central story is all about Carter and Nora. This is romance in its purest form! Readers who enjoy a straightforward romance will love After All (and the rest of the series)!

  POV: dual 1st
Tears: yes (there were some happy and sad tears)
  Trope: single dad, widower, boss/employee
  Triggers:
  Series/Standalone: stand alone
  Cliffhanger:
  HEA:

single dad romances like Joke's on You by Lani Lynn Vale, Eagle by Janie Crouch, Tumble by Adriana Locke...then you will probably like After All!

4.5 ‘Press It To My Heart’ Stars

Oh my, all the swoons! Talk about the most perfect of endings, a true HEA epitome! AFTER ALL is a bundle of office romance, second chance at love, amazingness. Carter and Nora’s emotional and uber sexy love story is pure KP deliciousness!!!

Can’t believe we are saying goodbye to one of my all time favorite series/world! How bittersweet… And what a way to end with a blossoming new love and ‘new’ beginnings. Carter and Nora are the perfect bow to wrap up this fantastic Romancing Manhattan gang.

“I think there’s plenty about both of us that we don’t know,” he says and I nod in agreement.
A working relationship is very different from a romantic one.

“If Nora’s the one you want—”
“Without question.”

Carter, the last of the fantastic trio of hotness that is the Cavanaugh/Shaw men, is the widower from the two previous heroes of the series. Having lost his wife five years prior, he is now beginning to feel truly alive again, and looking at the world with new eyes. These new eyes are laser focused on the brilliant woman that has been his support for many years and he is now more than ready to move forward and pursue what he wants most, Nora. I adored that so much I think it was what made me fall in love with his character right of the bat, just how much only Nora was who he wanted, it was truly swoon worthy!

I’ve never loved anyone the way I love Carter,

“I have a hunger for you, Nora. It seems no matter how much I feast on you, it’s never enough.”

Nora has been Carter’s secretary for ten years, but only now, seems to see him in a new light. After a unhappy marriage, and the betrayal that came along with it, she has been divorced now for a year, but only now seems ready to open herself to the dating world, but not an easy task on itself giving she he absolutely and utterly devoted to her job, and her boss, Carter. So when the man himself, starts getting close to her and showing a new side of himself, she can’t help but start noticing him, and his charm and appeal.

Things between us have changed so quickly, and yet, I can’t imagine a life without her.

I survived tragically losing love once. I don’t know that I could do it again.

I honestly don’t know how Ms. Proby does it, but even with a background that I normally have a certain drawback – widower/dead loved one – she makes me feel like I’m right there with them, and FEEL the attraction start appearing, the feelings shifting, and love blooming. That how naturally organic the development of the chemistry and the relationships that she writes make us feel while reading it. Carter and Nora was the perfect example of that. I felt that very moment their relationship changed, the ‘click’ that had nothing instant about it, but so much richness of background, plus the shift in their interaction. That how emotionally deep and intricate their feelings, their love is described, I felt every second of that evolution, and the richness of the emotions behind them both.

Yes, it’s fast.
No, I don’t give a fuck.
It seems my life has been on hold for five years, and I’m ready to start a new chapter with Nora. She’s wonderful.
She’s everything good in my life, aside from Gabby.
And I can’t wait to officially make her mine.

“Mine,” he says simply. “You have to agree to be mine.”
“I already am.”

AFTER ALL is a brilliantly crafted love story, a tale of healing, and rebirth of love and passion, a new beginning, that led us to most perfect of endings. Once again Kristen Proby’s natural and incredibly mature characters that feel as real as one of us, shone through, and made me identify with them, specially Nora. It was fantastic to how the previous couples were so involved in the story, while rooting for Carter and Nora.

And not once, not even once was my fear going in brought to life. I should have known Ms. Proby would never do that, and indeed it was so, because not even once from the very first page did I feel that Nora was second best, to Carter’s late wife. The way that the trope was incorporated, worked not to lessen their love story, but to me, I felt it elevated their love even more, and made Carter value even more this unique second chance at love, at a blissful life.

The hilarious moments, the companionship between the guys, the friendship between the girls, the banter, the sexy moments, so incredibly romantic and steamy, and the deeply emotional charge, were weaved together perfectly to give us once again a unforgettable love story, and characters I will dearly miss. Romancing Manhattan will remain branded in my heart! <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

I’ve never loved anyone else the way I do you, Nora. You will never know a day when you’re unloved by me, because your soul is so tangled in mine, there will never be a time that I’d let you go.

This life, this beautiful amazing life full of new sisters, a big family, a daughter that makes me crazy, and the sexiest man on earth is mine.
It seems I believe in happy endings after all.

I was really excited to finally get Nora and Carter's story, but somehow I feel a bit let down.

I've liked the snippets of both of them that we got in the previous books. Nora stands up for herself, she's strong and self-reliant. Carter is charming and definitely used to getting what he wants, when he wants it. Gabby was delightful, as was seeing the previous couples.

Plot wise, it was okay. There's a lot of repetition in phrases and actions and the relationship between Nora and Carter felt rushed. I know there's been hints of the two of them in the other books, but it was a jump from co-workers to a date to basically being in love. I wanted to be shown, not told that they cared. Also, I just don't care for a surprise pregnancy (not to mention Carter's BS reaction).

Overall, it was a good story and a satisfying ending to the series -- especially the 5 years later epilogue in Maggie's POV -- but, I'm still left wanting more than what I got here.

**Huge thanks to Avon for providing the arc free of charge**

After All is the final novel in the Romancing Manhattan series by Kristen Proby. Carter and Nora are familiar characters to those who have read the previous books and if you haven't fear not because the book is a stand-alone.

I was really liking this novel until the drama came. I felt like Gabby's behavior as out of place and it was not the behavior the Gabby from the previous parts of the book would have. The most important thing that bothered me though was the reason Carter and Nora broke up. Carter's reaction was cringe-worthy and I wanted to hit hin on the head in order to make him realize how wrong he is and at the same time, I think that Nora also overreacted considering not only the drop she dropped but also what Carter thought for a very long time. In my opinion, everyone in that family overreacted about something and I am not a big fan of that. I would have preferred to have either the Gabby or Nora's bomb problem explode. Both were too much for me.

Up to that point, I was really liking these three characters. They were three different people and all of them were good and likable. The romance was on point and I loved seeing Nora been a mom to Gabby and realizing what it truly means to be a mother.

If you don't mind some drama in your book, you should definitely give this a chance. If you are not a big fan of drama, this book might not be for you. I have to add though that I enjoyed most of the book, so I would recommend it with some hesitation.

Well, this book has all the feels. Carter makes some really HUGE mistakes, that I’m not sure he did enough groveling to make up. Nora is so strong and really handles the issues with Gabby so well. Be prepared, I cried like four different times during this story. The beginning of their relationship is so much fun. It’s pretty angsty from about 60% on. HEA with the sweetest epilogue.

What an emotional and strong ending to an enjoyable series!

After All is the third and final book in the Romancing Manhattan series of contemporary romances.

This is Carter's story. The narrators are Nora (34) and Carter (40) (1st person POVs). The story takes place mostly in Manhattan.

These books are sexy interconnected standalones. This book could be read without having read the others. But all of the characters from the previous books are in this book a lot. So I would definitely recommend reading the series in order.

Carter is a lawyer. Nora has been Carter's executive assistant for years. She knows his daughter Gabby (now 12). And she knows all about the tragedy from his past.

What I loved. I adored Nora's best friend Christopher. Such a fun character. But my favorite part of After All was getting to see all of the characters from the previous books. To me the standouts were Sienna and London. I really loved how they were involved in the story.

There is one small thing that bothered me (and it really is not about the story or the writing). It has to do with the female cover model. The female cover model is super thin. In the book it is mentioned a few times that Nora has curves and does not have a flat stomach. So to me this cover model does not fit.

This was a quick fun read. This was a really sexy and enjoyable series. I liked getting to see the main characters from the previous books. And I will really miss these characters.

The end was super emotional and I was very teary-eyed. And the epilogue was really strong. Overall this was a really good series.

Thanks to edelweiss and Avon for allowing me to read this book.

4.5 Stars!

This is the 3rd and final book of the series and by far my favorite of the bunch! This can be read as a stand alone but you will enjoy it more if you have some sense of the chemistry between the 3 men and how their lives intertwine.

I am a sucker for single dad stories, so it seemed like a no brainer to grab this one up. Carter has done everything for his daughter the past 5 years and ignored any needs he might have. All along, his assistant Nora has been by his side and been there for his pre-teen Gabby. She is as much a part of their lives as Gabby's uncles.

Finally, the two of them start to admit they may have more feelings for each other. I loved that Nora is very conscience about what this may look like in the office. She is independent and does not want to harm her reputation. Carter convinces her to take a chance and the romance begins.

Great seeing Nora bond with London and Sienna. Loved her relationship with Gabby. Finally, the epilogue was the perfect finishing touch. Great way to top off the series!

After All
Romancing Manhattan #3
By: Kristen Proby

REVIEW ☆☆☆☆
After All is third in a trilogy but fine as a standalone. Nora and Carter are long time co-workers with a professional and proper relationship. Carter has a twelve year old daughter and a wife who passed away five years ago. Nora is a recent divorcee. Neither of the two have had it easy. Then, something transpires that changes the dynamic between Nora and Carter. What if they were more than co-workers? How would twelve year old Gabby fit into the mix? There are numerous reasons to step back from this change, but the heart wants what it wants. The journey of discovery is fraught with mistakes, hope, doubt, humor and heartache, but it makes for a fun charming read with a few moments of heartache. There are no big revelations, but the story is well written and solid with likeable characters who seem more like friends. Fans of romcoms, chicklit and women's fiction will adore After All!

I’ve been completely romanced by Manhattan and this beautiful family of characters. After All was my favorite in series and one of my favorite KP books of all time. I started this book already feeling acquainted with Carter, Nora, Gabby and Maggie which made reading this book like visiting old friends. They are the most authentic modern family and through struggles and “growing pains” there’s still so much love between them.

Carter and Nora’s connection was so intense and blew me away! It was so unexpected after seeing them as boss/employee in previous books. I didn’t know how they would make the transition, but trust me they found their way and it was FIRE!

There’s something about these final books in Kristen’s series that make me feel weepy. I’m never ready to let go of the families and stories. And no epilogue out there can touch the epilogues Kristen writes to wrap up a series. Get your tissues out.

This book is the third and last book in the Manhattan series. I've been looking forward to Carter's books. After getting to know him a bit from the other 2 books I knew he hasn't had it easy so I was dying to know him better. I've enjoyed this series so far so I was looking forward to get stuck in.

The characters are great in this book to 2 main character Carter and Nora. Nora has worked as Carter's assistant for a long while. There isn't much she doesn't know about him. Nora even minds Carter's daughter Gabby who is 12 and goin through her preteen stage which is very testing for them all at times. But Nora luvs her so much and would do anything for her. Nora has alway found Carter attractive but didn't think there would be anything between them with working so close together it's never a good thing to get to close. But after a while they both started see each other a bit different and wanted to see how things could go between them.

Free Image Hosting at FunkyIMG.com

I really liked Carter and Nora together they have both had to deal with hard times and have found it hard to move on. They both work very hard and find it hard to have a social life. But once Carter finally makes his move and asks her for a date things start to move in the right direction. They both need happiness though things don't alway go easy for them Carter or Nora can't seem to be a part from each other. Things do move quite quick with them but Nora knows Carter and after working together for so long why wait.

I would highly recommend this book the story was so good and smoking hot in parts. These are so hot together once they let there guard down they can't keep there hands off each other. I really did enjoy the story it was well written and the story flowed. I was dying to see what happened between them. The epilogue was perfect as well it was a perfect ending to the series.

~ 5 Nora & Carter Stars ~

Sometimes I love a story that gets to the heart of the romance without all the angst and drama leading up to it.

That’s exactly what After All was. This was an enjoyable and swoony office romance.

I still believe that Kristen Proby is the queen of swoony romance stories!! I always have a huge smile on my face while reading her books and I know my heart won’t be torn apart just to be put back together.

After All is a great finish to this series. I have loved all the book in this series and this one is no different. I found this story fun, sexy and totally swoony. Yes there is some drama but it was all fairly mild and over pretty quickly.

This is the third book in this series, but can be read as a standalone novel. It is told in Dual POV and I thought the flow and pace of the book was great. I always get swept up in Kristen’s stories. Her characters are relatable and lovable, I always feel like I am a part of their world. I don’t feel this series has to be read in order, but if you are like me, you will want to read them in order to get the full reading experience.

We follow Nora and Carter in this story. It is an office romance but could also be a friends to lovers story. Nora has been Carter’s assistant for a decade but after being trapped at the office during a snow storm, they find they see each other in a different light. Both of these characters have been hurt in the past and Nora has some trust issues, where as Carter is learning to love again after a tragic loss. I loved watching these two grow into better and stronger characters.

I loved seeing the other couples in this book. It’s great when we can seeing how they have moved on since their stories

I would recommend this book to all romance readers who like a story with very little drama. If you know or have read other Kristen Proby books, then you know when you pick this book up, you’re in for a treat!! This is definitely one for your TBR list!!!

After All, by Kristen Proby is a smash hit with me. It’s the best contemporary romance story that I have read thus far. Kristen has written this story, thinking clearly about her readers and what they are looking for when they read her books. Kristens grabs you the reader, with an ever emotional plot topic that is so dramatic. The plot leaves you with tears and filled with so much love for her characters. She has also brought a little laughter, to lift your spirits in certain parts of the book.
Kristens writing provides you the vision of each scene. Her details of the story really taps into your imagination. Each character that Kristen brings to this book has the reader loving the book all the more. These characters help the leading characters out so much, as they stumble through their romance. Carter and Nora are great!
You will absolutely freakin love them. You will love Carter’s daughter, Gabby even more. Nora works as a Paralegal assistant at Carter’s law firm. Carter owns this law firm with two other gentlemen, Finn and Quinn. Well, Nora some how becomes Carter personal assistant in and out of the office over a ten year period.
One after noon Carter gets short with Nora and the gloves come off. She stands up to him and tells him where to go. Carter’s caught off guard by this and then he starts to look at her in another light. He likes this side of Nora. He peruses this side and the hunt is on.
Nora is shocked but not shocked and the two share enjoy all that comes with their romance in and out of the office. And let me tell you, thank God Carter’s office didn’t have windows facing out to his staff. I don’t think that the two thought about his big office window facing out to the New York view either. These two did not come up for air. Back to the story.
Carter and Nora go through the story learning about each other and their family. They also take on the challenge of discipling and raising a preteen together. They attack and conquer office romance rules and co-workers who are jealous. There are some health scares and tragic loses that they learn to cope and deal with. But one thing was sure.
Carter kissing Noras hand and placing it over his heart, is the sweetest and most romantic thing that a writer could have thought of for a male lover. Yes my fellow readers. I recommend this book with two snaps. A, “ how you doing”? And on back order.
A black pair of high heels with a tiny red bow on the back, that I definitely will be buying for myself. Until next time my fellow readers...read on! I voluntary reviewed this ARC after receiving a free gifted copy.

Nora has worked with Carter for the last ten years and has become an important part of both his and his daughter’s life both personally and professionally. She thrives on the challenges and demands of her job and it was the one saving grace that helped her overcome her divorce.

Carter is a partner in his law firm and has been a single father to his daughter Gaby since his wife passed away five years earlier. Although he has been focused on his career and his daughter he is ready to start dating again however that is easier said than done.

Neither Carter nor Nora have seen each other as anything more than friends but one night changes everything and they are never far from each other’s minds. When they decide to take the next step in their relationship they are faced not only with their changing relationship in the office but their changing relationship with each other and with Gaby and although they had a few setbacks along the way there is no denying they are much stronger together than apart.

This is an emotional story about love, family and new beginnings that is filled with not only emotion and heat but also characters and problems that most people can relate to.

After All is the 3rd book in Kristen Proby’s Romancing Manhattan Series. It is an interconnected standalone that can be read without having had read the first two books in the series. This is a sweet, quick, low angst read that I throughly enjoyed. Carter is a hardworking Lawyer and Single Dad. Nora is his Executive Assistant. She is recently divorced. The two have been dancing around their feelings for one another for awhile but have tried not to act on them due to the fact they work together and don’t want to cross that line. I enjoyed their banter, and respect for one another. Their chemistry was evident from the beginning and I enjoyed watching a beautiful love develop between them. There was a bit of drama with Carter’s teen daughter, Gabby that she and Nora had to work through but it was not over done or drawn out. I adored the emotional side to this story and the epilogue was super sweet and had me tearing up. Great end to this series.

5 Stars!

The Romancing Manhattan series is back with its third standalone contemporary romance and y'all, Kristen Proby has got just a way with her words. I've not read books one and two in this series (huge bummer!) but I had zero problems diving headfirst into this BEAUTIFUL romance and I'll totally be going back go catch up asap.

Carter and Nora, ahhhhhhh these two! They lit up my kindle the moment they landed on it and y'all, I couldn't put them or their journey down from the first page to the last word.

Packed with heart. All of the feels. Enough heat to leave you squirming in your seat. Chemistry that just rolls right off the pages. Two people that'll pull at your heartstrings. These two were addicting and unforgettable in all the ways and every moment was worth it... AFTER ALL.

I've been a huge fan of Kristen since the early days in the With Me in Seattle series (TOP FAVE EVER!!) so I can honestly say that she has gotten more addicting with every. new. release.

I highly recommend this book.

Well, it made me cry like 4 different times! I will say, Carter made me sooo mad. Carter makes some really HUGE mistakes. Not just once, but a couple of times. Gabby is dealing with some heavy stuff that Nora handles so much better than most people. There is a lot of romance, and the beginning of their relationship is so much fun! It’s pretty angsty for the last bit of the book. HEA with all of the feels.

The final installment in the Romancing Manhattan series is here and I definitely wasn't prepared! I wasn't prepared to swoon so hard with Carter's sweet words and gestures. I wasn't prepared for the awesome girl's night between London, Sienna & Nora. I wasn't prepared to be gutted by Darcy's letters and I certainly wasn't prepared for that epilogue, but I loved every single moment of it nonetheless. ❤

Oh Kristen has once again tugged at our heart strings, made us swoon with the handsome single dad Carter and certainly layered on the sexy office romance. I could not put this couple and their wonderfully funny supportive friends down. After All pulled me in Nora and Carter's World and I did not want it to end!

REVIEWED BY JENN

I waited so long for this book. The blurb ticked off every single one of my boxes, but I confess myself disappointed. First of all, NO ONE that lives and works in Manhattan drives to work. They just don't. Especially an office assistant. That immediately took me out of the story, and I never really got in back in to it. Carter was a jerk when it felt like he needed some dimension, but it didn't fit the character. It just felt like all these scenes were started and never finished. The whole premise was getting locked in the office together, but again, an unfinished scene. I wanted to love this book, but ended up having to push really hard to finish it. I'm just sad.

Carter and Nora were fun. And hot, and the romance felt real.

And, at this point, that is the reason I pick up anything written by Kristen Proby, because I know the romance is going to feel real, that I am going to be pulled in to the story, and that I am not going to have any moments where I find myself feeling like I need to force myself to continue.

I loves that this romance was an evolution of 2 people who have known one another for years, who were both married (one happily and one less than happily) and who remained in one another's lives out of affection for one another and not just out of obligation. Yes, it's a workplace romance, and Carter is Nora's boss, but it never feels that way, it never seems like this is a relationship that either of them want to leave, so the development of it into more just works and flows perfectly.

This is technically a standalone. You do see some glimpses of previous characters, but it's not enough to pull you from this story or ruin the other books.

I enjoyed and recommend this title.

After All wraps up Kristen Proby’s Manhattan series perfectly!

I will say ... seriously her epilogues when a series wraps up... they kill me in the best way possible!

I loved this boss/employee relationship and watching it mature! Add a single dad with a preteen daughter.... seriously amazing!

This is another ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from Kristen Proby. I was in a total mood funk and needed something to lift my spirits. This book was exactly what I needed ❤️
