Like always with these Japanese Singles releases the audio, booklet, artwork is all magnificent! So much time and thought goes in to the releases and it's so awesome when a new release that covers a favorite artist of mine is announced. These are like mini-archives and I love all the releases I own. The video on this sadly missed the mark. Kudos to including as many videos as possible but spreading over 3 hours of video content forces the compression of the choice of DVD to the limit and the average bitrate is so low there isn't a good looking video on the disc - everything is either tolerable or terrible. Most of the black and white Rhythm Nation 1814 videos are sources from something lower than NTSC 29.9 fps so they look jittery - some newer videos as well. It's a shame a Blu-ray or 2 DVDs were not used - I would have paid more! All in all it's still worth it if you're a fan and more so if the videos are just a nice extra for you - for me they're the main reason I purchase these.
