HACU accepting college student applications for the Exito: CIA Career Exploration Boot-Camp

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities and the Central Intelligence Agency are accepting applications for “Exito: CIA Career Exploration Boot-Camp,” a four-day career exploration event for college freshmen and sophomores to be held June 3-7, 2024, in Washington, D.C. Online applications will be accepted through March 25, 2024. Students will be notified of acceptance the week of April 29. Click here to apply.

The four-day program is designed to help students learn about pursuing a career with the CIA. Students will visit the CIA and meet with Agency professionals. Workshops and networking activities will help to provide information about agency job opportunities, culture, and expectations. Students are also encouraged to apply for CIA internships.

Up to 30 college freshmen and sophomores from HACU-member institutions will be selected to participate. Students selected to participate in the bootcamp will receive four nights lodging and round-tip airfare to Washington, D.C. June 3-7.

Student must meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • U.S. citizens
  • Currently enrolled as an undergraduate freshman or sophomore at a HACU-member institution
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Carry at least 12 credit hours
  • All Majors are encouraged to apply
  • Have excellent writing and briefing skills
  • Have an interest in serving as a civilian in the intelligence Community
  • Able to meet CIA suitability requirements and background investigation (character and conduct)
