Hello!
We are back with a special #sheheartsfilm walk to celebrate International Women’s month!
For this special walk, and our first photo walk of 2023 we will be collaborating with LensFayre. LensFayre are an independent business based in Nottingham who specialise in analogue cameras, camera refurbishment and more! They are also the creators of one of our favourite new reusable 35mm cameras on the market, the Snap LF-35M :)
For this walk, we will be heading to LensFayre’s home town of Nottingham. We will meet at a local cafe where the LensFayre founders, Aleica and Dan will tell us all about LensFayre! The cafe is called Blend.
The LensFayre team are also going to run a quick talk for us, all about the best way to look after your camera, covering the basics of CLA (clean, lubricate and adjust). Alecia and Dan have also kindly offered some discounted services to celebrate the day- including camera reskinning and servicing! And if we have time we will have a quick tour of their new HQ!
Following this we will embark on our photowalk, covering some of Nottingham’s landmarks including Nottingham castle, Lace Market, the Creative Quarter, some street art hotspots and the famous canals and mills.
We shall end the day in a local brewery, Neon Raptor, near the LensFayre HQ, where Alecia and Dan will be on hand to answer any of your questions. This is a great chance to chat to your fellow film photographers, make friends and relax after a brilliant day of photography!
As always, this walk is for photographers identifying as women and non-binary. This is a safe space to learn from each other, share tips and tricks, make friends and enjoy the wonders of film photography. Beginners and all abilities welcome (as long as you have a film camera).

Hi everyone,
Just a note to say that I have changed the start of the walk to 12:30. There are train strikes on the walk day unfortunately, so I am getting a coach and this was the only time that worked for me!
Please check your travel before the big day, and spread the word! It would be great to get some more sign ups :)
