Cadillac CT6 2023.

The new Cadillac CT6 sedan was caught without camouflage.

The big four-door will be styled like the brand’s electric cars, and there will be a branded signboard inside. Dealers should see the new model next year.

Cadillac CT6 flagship sedan debuted in 2015, it went through a restyling in 2018, and already in 2020 issue of the model in the native states for the brand ended.

However, in China, the production continues, and this market «four-door» does not intend to leave, despite the modest sales (the result of 2021 — 17,715 units): there for the debut of the sedan second generation.

Spy photos of the new CT6 — and without masking — replicated the local media, among which was the publication Autohome.

Judging by the photo, exterior of the «four-door» will be closer to the electric Cadillac Lyriq and Celestiq liftback.

CT6 will get similar headlining (the top will be narrow running lights, under them — vertical headlight blocks), in addition, «Six» will get a similar front bumper and a shiny decorative plate.

There will be a single display in the cabin — as in the same Lyriq.

Most likely, as well as its predecessor, the «second» Cadillac CT6 is built on a rear-wheel drive platform.

The dimensions of the new sedan are still unknown. The length of the previous «four-door» (in Chinese specification) is 5223 mm, width — 1879 mm, height — 1492 or 1498 mm (depending on version), wheelbase — 3109 mm.

The Chinese believe that the new CT6 will retain the 2.0 gasoline «turbo four»: on the current model this engine produces 237 hp and 350 Nm, it works with a ten-speed «automatic».

Thus the «celestial» media also hope that «their» sedan will get back the turbo V6 3.0 engine (before the Chinese CT6 produced 405 hp).

And the specialized media for some reason do not write about a jump of the recharged hybrid version (it was taken out of production long ago).

According to preliminary data, the new Cadillac CT6 will have its official premiere in China next year.

By the way, last spring camouflaged prototypes were caught in the U.S., although it is unlikely the model will return to the home brand: the American market of General Motors, of course, headed for the «green».
