Meh…

SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS

The H’s old lover reappears. He leaves his family (the h and kids) to basically screw the ow for a month 🤬 because he doesn’t know what he really feels for the ow (he thought she was dead). Of course, she forgives him after he realizes his real feelings 😐. Don’t worry; they agree to remain friends after 😐

I’m not gonna even talk about the kidnapping, bathroom OM, sex club, or threesome… just the ow stuff alone makes it hard for me to read 😵‍💫

If the roles were reversed, people WOULDN’T be as accepting of the h doing this… but because he’s a man… 🥴

I wish she has made him grovel… some bloody knees would’ve be nice 🤷🏻‍♀️

Sigh… I can’t with this angst/heartbreak

The dead ex is back! Tun tun tuuuuuuun!

I love this type of drama-llama.

The angst factor was satisfying, but a few things ruined it. It was a mistake throwing a ménage/sharing scene into the middle of this drama (M/F/M), especially when the h was supposed to be mad at him. My other gripe was how she took him back almost instantly. Despite her ignoring him and pushing him away, she always ended up in his arms anyway, quite easily. But I wouldn't call her a doormat. The OW drama kept things interesting for the entire book. The h was definitely not second choice; he repeatedly rejected the OW towards the end. I think it was evident he wanted a future with the h and to leave the love he had for the OW in the past. A believable conclusion/HEA.

I didn't read the previous books. This still worked for me, but I only came for the angst, so...

Notes:
Cheating: Yes. He cheated, emotionally; physically (once, off-page) while H/h were separated. Bastard! LOL

I’m hovering between 3.5-4 stars
I think that there’s a lot of assumptions being made about this book or readers looking into it more than between the lines.
I honestly can’t hate Muff. TBH I think because its a triangle, people want to hate Muff and his actions but I really don’t think you can he made some bad decisions but you can also understand why, and he was always remorseful knowing he was hurting Janine.
I can also say Janine is a feisty strong AF heroine, and with her past she has every right to react the way she did and make the decisions she did. Love triangles can be hard to read at the best of times.
Overall I think this is a great take on a love triangle and a lost love coming back from the dead. I also don’t think it’s cheating, betrayal yes, dick move absolutely, but I also think anyone in Muffs position would have struggled the way he did.

Note to self: Thank you to my GR friends I know to stay far away from this book.

Cheating, threesome, etc. It only needed cheating for me to stay away, add more to it and you might as well have a recipe for disaster. No thank you. 😵‍💫

Muff, you stupid motherfucker.

My personal feelings for the male chatacter aside, this book kept me hooked from start to finish. The angst was *chef's kiss*. So why only 3 stars?

Because Muff is a stupid motherfucker.
Because Janine should make him grovel a lot more.
Because, AGAIN, Muff is a stupid motherfucker.

I don't have any triggers when it comes to the books I read, but emotional disloyalty makes me super mad.

This story was really good, but gosh, how pissed I was half the time, haha.

Blown Away

I’ve wanted to read a book by this author and I finally got my chance and all I can think of is why did I wait so long!! What an amazing author. Anyone who can make me feel so deeply for the characters has won me over.

My heart broke right along with Jaybird’s…time and time again. Muff and Jaybird’s life got more than complicated when someone from Muff’s past comes back into his life unexpectantly.

For those out there rating this book lower because of cheating, private clubs with what goes on there, it doesn’t seem fair. This author brought everything to the table which made love this book even more. It was written so well and with their relationship so heartbreaking, I was put through the paces with a book that I couldn’t put down.

Anyone who can make me feel so much is a winner for me. I thought it was a fantastic book and I can’t wait to read more.

Choatic Triangle

This one made some people mad, and I can somewhat get it, but I enjoyed the story. The author really takes you through it. Just confirming the tropes:

🐦 Love Triangle with a married couple. Poor Muff has been keeping some secrets. He used to be married, but he thought she died. Well, SURPRISE! She's not died, and she comes back like Lazarus 😅. His new wife, Jay Bird, is all WTH, and there goes our story and love triangle.

People are mad, but honestly, there wouldn't be a book if Muff wasn't confused and we had to watch him act like an idiot to figure out his emotions.

🐦is there cheating? Sort of kinda. There is the OW there is sleeping with her, but it's not shown on the page. We are told about it. It's also when Muff is told by Janine that the marriage is over.

🐦Is there sharing? Yeah. There is one small MFM scene. The MMC really seems to flow with it only because his wife is kind of pushing for it, and he wants her happy. It is strictly MFM. There isn't vag penetration. It's easily skippable if it's not your thing.

🐦JP. Yes, Muff is extremely jealous, and it may or may not have been the catalyst to get him to get his head out of his ah

🐦Is there a HEA? Yes, it's a romance, and we are reading the triangle Muff finds himself in and how he makes his way back.

One big negatory I had ...the odd running theme that Jan-(Just had a baby and was in an abusive relationship)-ine wasn't free enough or was losing her MOJO and needed to get it back. Muff wanted to see a wild streak in her. As a reader, I was like f* you Muff, but these characters weren't perfect, but the cheating/love triangle trope was nice.

Received as an ARC in return for my honest review.

🏍️ Motorcycle club
❤️ Second chance
🏍️ First love
❤️ Accidental pregnancy/secret baby
🏍️ Alpha hero x Heroine in danger

I’ve never read anything by Bella before and when I tell you this was gooooood!! I was gripped from the first sentence, absolutely loved the writing style and characters we met along the way.

Bella where have you been all of my life when I needed my motorcycle club fantasies fulfilled? I don’t think I’ve blazed through a book this quick in a while, at this point I desperately need to know what happens next in the series, if there is anything, if not I might be distraught 😫 I hadn’t read the first books in this series but it honestly didn’t impact on my enjoyment of this instalment, which was nice as sometimes when something is penned as an interconnected standalone it really isn’t and ruins the reading experience.

Honestly, it's between 3-4 stars for me. Muff really made me mad. I semi understood the predicament he was in, but he went about everything all wrong. I'm not sure if it was just me, but I don't think he was ever really torn about who to choose. He was confused, but even being in his head, I felt like his heart was always with Janine. It just took him a while to figure it out.

I wish that the whole abduction/ beat-up part of the plot hadn't happened. I would have preferred to see Muff grovel and win back Janine, not have her almost die. Those plot twists always feel like a cop out to me. I also noticed a few plot holes and things that didn't line up ( you guys know I'm a stickler for details😅), and that brought my enjoyment down.

Anyway, I did enjoy this one but would definitely say that it is NOT SAFE.

it’s so great to be back with the Sinners!

Absolutely sensational!!! Bella Jewel you brought us back our beloved Sinners. I’m so ecstatic!!
Muff is one of my favorites and I loved him from the start. As this story went on I wanted to shake him and scream in face more than once. But he proved he was the awesome man I knew he was. Janine is amazing and I think she deserves a wonderful life after what she’s been through.
I really admire her. So of course my heart was breaking right along with hers. I cried with her too. This story really affected me because I love these characters so much.

Just when my heart was righting itself. BAM !
Bella takes my breath away again. I can’t wait for Cade and Addison’s book. It’s gonna be one crazy ride.

Thank you Bella!

Being back with the original MC Sinners was fantastic and I really enjoyed catching up with them. This was a total rage read for me and the author did a great job of getting me to feel this way. I was mad because Muff and Jaybird were happy after the pain they had gone through previously but then the past comes knocking. The very things I loved about the storyline are the same things I didn't like. I loved all the drama and angst, you can feel all the emotions from everyone. I was so disappointed in Muff, I know he's a book character but I felt his decisions personally. I understand the confusion he felt but he didn't have to go there , he just didn't, he should have fought harder. I also wanted Janine to make him suffer more and work harder.

Back to MC Sinners 2013. The original cast. This one was a pretty quick read for me. But I loved it 🥰 If you’ve read MC Sinners series then you know Muff, and probably love him. This is Muff and Jaybirds story. Emotional, messy, with some drama and spice. Somewhat of a cliffhanger, just in the sense of what’s going on with the club and other original couples is TBC in Cade next in this series.

I really tries not to scream. Muff .. This guy got on my nerves like no other. The drama was off the top but I loved it. Muff and Janine was brutal. They have suffered so much and they are finally where they need to be but the past comes back and almost breaks them apart. One roller coaster of emotions. It’s was perfect.

tough to rate Spoilers!!!!

This is one of my all time favourite series so I was elated to see it back. Muff needed his book and we needed more muff (saying with a smile!)

While I can’t deny the story and writing was fantastic as always. I felt disappointed by muffs strength of character and his actions. While MCs are all about loyalty it seems that didn’t extended to his wife when his ex walked it. He really did Janine dirty.

I understand he was in a tight spot when harper walked back in and he had things to sort out. He was selfish and I’m sorry but he put harper ahead of Janine using his confusion as an excuse. When Janine found out about muffs secret he should have stepped back from them both and processed it. Surely he could understand janines feelings and respected her enough to do it? He was beyond selfish ImO. Janine wasn’t giving him the time of day so he spent all his time with harper. Knowing full well that would hurt Janine and wasn’t giving Janine a fair chance. She had every right to hate his guts.

Don’t even get me started on the cheating. It just shows how low he would stoop and how little he thought of Janine. He put more effort in the side with harper. Janine forgave to easily also. My heart broke for her at points. His wishy washy excuses and time spent with harper set fire to his marriage with Janine. When he told her he’d been with harper intimately I swear my heart broke. Yeah yeah it’s only a book but he did her dirty. He had to have known Janine was broken hearted and pinning off him but he did it anyway. I’m sorry but that’s not love and he wasn’t confused at that point either…

I’m sorry to say that I really hated muff at times in this book. Even by the end I still did a little. He got everything he wanted. I can’t imagine being in a position like that. Where my husbands ex wife walks in and he tells me “oh I still love her. I need time to figure out who I want. You gotta be cool with that and wait”. Janine was right. If he loved her then he would have been honest and fought for her too. He didn’t. He kind of gave up. He had kids and a woman he loved.

Harper was a hard character to understand. At first I had empathy for her but When she turned up at the door - I’m sorry that was her staking claim and trying to get Janine out of the way.

I think the fact that Janine was okay with them speaking shows her weakness in character also. Seriously ladies. If you went through all this and he slept with his ex and couldn’t decide who he wanted- would you be happy with them calling each other and being “friends”. Nah no self respecting woman would.

The story was fantastic and would have been more so if the cheating didn’t happen. To me it ruined the characters love and story.

Muff has lost a fan & Janine deserved better.

In Bella Jewels' latest addition to the MC Sinners series, "Muff," readers are once again plunged into the tumultuous world of motorcycle clubs, passion, and heartache. At the centre of it all is Muff, a character who has finally been given the spotlight he deserves.

As the story unfolds, we witness Muff grappling with conflicting emotions as his past resurfaces, threatening to upend the life he has built with Janine, a woman who has brought him joy and love. The stakes are high as the dangers surrounding the MC club loom ever closer, promising devastating outcomes.

Jewels' mastery of the MC world shines through once again, with intricate storytelling that keeps readers on the edge of their seats. But what sets "Muff" apart is its emotional depth. Despite the adrenaline-fueled backdrop of the motorcycle club, this is a tale that tugs at the heartstrings, exploring themes of love, loyalty, and redemption.

As a fan of the MC Sinners series, I never knew how much I had missed it until diving into "Muff." Bella Jewels has delivered another brilliant, hot, and passionate installment, reminding us why this series is her crowning glory in romance writing. From the gripping plot to the well-developed characters, "Muff" is a testament to Jewels' talent and dedication to her craft.

In closing, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to Bella Jewels for returning to this magnificent epic series. "Muff" is a must-read for fans and newcomers alike, offering a thrilling ride through the dangerous world of MC romance.

Holy FUCK, "Muff" by Bella Jewel grabs you by the soul from the get-go and doesn't let go. The DRAMA, folks, it's like a goddamn feast, and I was gobbling up every last crumb. You think you're ready for the rollercoaster of twists and turns? Think again. Just when you think you've caught your breath, BAM, that cliffhanger hits you like a freight train, leaving you gasping and desperate for more. Muff and Janine? Their connection is so raw, so palpable, I swear I felt every damn emotion alongside them.

There were moments I wanted to grab Muff by the shoulders, shake him, and scream, "What the actual fuck are you doing?!" But just as I'm about to lose my shit, Bella Jewel pulls it back, turns it around, and suddenly, it all makes sense. I dove into this book after having read the last 3 and the novella IN 2013 BRO THAT WAS AGES AGO!!!!!!!!!

If you've got even a drop of love for Jax Teller, prepare to meet his match in Muff. Bella Jewel, you've done something magical here, and I'm here for it, heart and soul. Thanks for the wild ride, and hurry the hell up with the next book because my heart can't handle the wait.

To think I've known Bella for 11 years now. WHAT A RIDE IT HAS BEEN. The fact that I got this arc means the world to me, now that I can review her books like I've always wanted. LOVE IT.

Muff by Bella Jewel

I don’t know about you but I love anything and everything Sinners. This is of course as you could tell by the name Muffs book. I must warn you though it is very emotional. It definitely broke my heart for both Janine and Harper. Oh and I guess a for Muff too even thought he could have eased the confusion and pain just a tiny bit between him and Janine if he had just been honest. I mean I don’t understand why he didn’t tell her from the beginning it’s not like it was terrible and he left her he thought it was a tragedy and he should have told his wife he had been married before. I mean he caused so much angst and drama by not talking to his wife from the beginning. I mean I know I should have hatted Muff and let me tell you I at times thought I would and I did. However i did feel for him because that was a hard situation to be in. I know he had no control over Harper coming back but he did have control on the choices he made. The situation sucked and it was always going to be painful for someone. Then we have all of the suspense with Wesley and then the information we find out about Cade. Oh boy I am eager to read Cade and Addisons book for sure and get answers on that. Also to hopefully finally see that Wesley gets what he deserves and more. Definitely recommend.

OK, I'm going to try not to rant here...
It's been so long since I've been so fed up with a character. This book had me in a mood. Hating dumb men, or men in general because it made me think all men are dumb. My husband is suffering because of it. I wanted to SLAP Muff into another dimension. He was infuriating me! I understood that he had a difficult decision to make. But at times I felt like he put himself in those difficult positions of betrayal. I'm not gonna lie, if I had to put the book down because of life, it was hard to pick it up again. It had me feeling very emotional. But whenever I had it in my hands, I was devouring it! I was SO PROUD of Janine. I wanted to be part of her posse.

The story had me very invested. Pulled in both directions. I could understand both sides and how difficult it is to deal with a situation like that. But I also felt her pain and uncertainty deeply. No one wants to feel insecure and feel like you are not the first choice. The only reason why I'm giving this book 4 stars and not 5, is because I was abruptly pulled from their drama to a different one. So I had to switch gears and abandon the focus I already had on them, but I was still reeling from it.

I can't believe Muff almost threw his family away for.a long lost love from his youth.Worse yet, rather than fight for his current wife who he recently had a child with,he fought for his previous wife from his past. Even worse yet, he used the fact that his wife his wife shut him down (and said they were done because she was freaked the F out by his secrets, lies and inability to choose her) ..as excuse to go all out with the ow and sleep with her!
If they had not had a fortuitous meet up in the sex club where she proved she could be as free and wild as the ow (A trait prior discussed that she lacked,ow flourished) he might not have begun to realize his idiocy. I think the comparison was unfortunate plot technique
It is later during a fight between them when he is confronted with with the fact that she would indeed move on and be with other men possibly have another man's child that he come to the the realization of how paramount his feelings for his current wife.
At one point the other woman starts reading the tea leaves and feeling desperate ,fakes a pregnancy scare.
All in all it's quite the Gut wrenching angst laden rage fest, that does end in the re establishment of their marital bliss Only this time with a focus on honesty and with more adventurous relationship all around.

I did not like this book BUT... it's not because it wasn't a good story and the writing wasn't good - the story was great and the writing was excellent. You may very well LOVE this story. I didn't like it because of my own hang-ups but why I didn't like it is also why it is so good. If you love your romance to tear you apart before putting you together then you'll love this.
So this is a love triangle - which I usually don't mind, but typically there is a "good" partner and a "bad" partner. In this case, Bella Jewel did an absolutely wonderful job of making all three of them sympathetic! Unfortunately, I realized I can't handle that - I don't like my MMC's having any doubts and the incredible heart wrenching decisions Muff had to make ruined the underlying love story for me. Especially when toward the end he (I assume it was supposed to be "just friendly") uses a pet name for the woman he doesn't choose. NOPE! My heart cannot handle it - I need OTTPJ... and while he was P/J about the woman he ultimately chose it just wasn't enough for me. I need more grovel and I needed her to put him through it a bit more (even though I know he was in a tough spot).

As a reader have to say this one just gutted me in every directon. One minute I loved Muff and seeing their happily ever was beautiful but then a dark cloud comes and it is one that will change the whole story line yet makes me wonder how will Muff handle this. These two can hate one another no matter how much the love they have is still there. Seeing it through Janine's eyes, praying and fighting for Muff to come back was brutal. Bella Jewel sure knows how to break and mend a reader's heart and boy these two will just get you. Seeing the whole gang was a great treat, filled with familiarity, comedy and just seeing how far they have come was awesome. All in all totally rocked Muff and Janine. Loved it.

This story is one that I had been looking forward to when I saw the author was adding to a series I had loved years ago. However, Muff is a character I am still not sure if I love or hate after reading his book. When a secret is revealed the life his wife Janine knows is torn apart. Muff becomes confused and his feelings are in turmoil. However my heart ached for Janine and the way Muff handled this situation. He tore them apart based on feelings from his past. A storyline that held me captive even though I wanted to walk away. This story walked a fine line for me and I’m not sure if Muff’s actions were forgivable. If you are a lover of drama and high angst then this is the book for you.

🏍️ MC / Biker
🥀 Angsty
🏍️ Will they or won’t they
🥀 Band of Brothers
🏍️ Alpha Hero

You’re immediately sucked into the story from the first chapter and the DRAMA I was living for and you have all these drama filled twists and turns throughout the book that you just want to finish it to find out what happens next but then BAM a cliffhanger but a good one at that where you want to immediately read the next book. You can feel the emotion and connection between Muff and Janine. There were times where I wanted to yell at Muff and just ask him what the heck he is thinking but then everything turns out fine. I haven’t read the previous books but it didn’t stop me from understanding the story and now I immediately need to pick up the others because if you’re like me and are OBSESSED with Jax Teller this is the book for you.

Thank you Bella Jewel and Valentine PR for the ARC, all thoughts are my own

I can honestly say when I started reading this story it truly made me mad. But I kept with it. From the beginning of this book, it immediately has you wanting to throat-punch Muff. When it starts it's the story of Muff and Jannie seems to have the perfect love story until Muff drops a bomb so big I don't think Jannie will come back from it. While Muff gets his act together it's Jannie's heartbreak that will break you down. I did have a hard time reading this one because I hate for people to be in pain. Muff is trying to figure out his life and he has a decision to make. No matter what it is someone will be hurt. How can he fix what he broke?

Wow, what a ride. I have read other novels by this author and loved them, and this novel did not disappoint. I love a great MC novel and this novel did not disappoint. I was excited to start reading this novel and from the first chapter it sucked me in. It was so good, although there were times this novel made my heart hurt. I loved Janine and Muff's story. I loved their chemistry and I loved watching them fall in love. I love when a novel just won't let me put it down because I need to know what is coming next. I can't wait to see what is coming next from this author.

Sharing.
Hypocrite h can have sex with OM and H, but H having sex with ex is bad, bad, bad.

The ridiculousness is even worse because the author pretends that it makes sense that someone who is ok with sharing realizes that he wants h because thinking of her with another man sends him to the madhouse. WTF?

Hey at least Bella Jewel has a future in stand up comedy too if she wants to diversify her job, if the way she mad me laugh in this book counts.
Maybe I should have been laughing because of the characters instead of AT them though.

The reason I gave this book such a low rating as because after everything MC, Muff, put Janine through she just forgave him and he kept up a relationship with Harper not even saying let me talk to my wife about that. Even though he slept with someone else. I’m okay with some cheating IF they aren’t married. But he knew he was married to her then got mad at her because he was confused about feelings for someone he hadn’t seen in 10 years. That’s a hell no!!!

no, just no, a wife that's kind of a doormat even when trying to grow a backbone and an hero who is the most selfish book guy, when his first wife comes back from witness protection and wants him back what does he do?? stand by his new wife and his kids with her of course - not. He let them hang out to dry, brings danger to their doorstep and wants an award for going back to his second family. slap a mc label on the story and call it quits, that's what happened here

Had potential

I was excited about reading this than realizing how short it was given the subject matter had me worried. I feel like the story wasn't fully flushed out and incomplete. I think we needed more groveling from Muff especially with what he did to Jaybird. I get he was dealing with Harper's return but she is your wife and he didn't fight enough for her. The ending left me more confused. This had potential but it needed more.
