CHIP TUNING

Chip tuning is the term originally used to describe the process that is now known as ECU Remapping.

To chip tune a car, the Eprom from the ECU is removed, and the software is programmed into the chip on the bench.

This process is referred to as remapping, which means changing the standard software within the chip.

TURBO CONVERSIONS

When it comes to turbochargers, bigger ones require more exhaust air to spin their turbine and create boost.

This means that they generate more power in the higher RPM range. However, larger turbos also come with increased turbo lag.
