Understanding Autism from Childhood to Employment" event on
April 26, 2024. The purpose of this event is to provide an understanding of Autism and employment resources to those who could benefit from additional services in the community.
Event Schedule:
8:30 -9:30am: Registration and Breakfast
9:30 -10:30: Autism 101 Training
An introductory training to increase the basic understanding of autism, related behaviors, information and tips on how to effectively interact with individuals with Autism.
10:30 -10:45: Break
10:45 - 11:45am: Neurodiversity in the Workforce: Attract & Retain Talent
Participants will learn strategies and practices to enhance disability recruitment and retention practices. Whether you're a professional, family member, or self-advocate, this session offers invaluable insights to enhance your approach.
