Jenniges Meat Processing and Grocery Store Grand Opening
Everyone is invited to a Grand Opening celebration for the new Jenniges Meat Processing plant and retail store from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, May 31. Come celebrate the opening with the Jenniges family! The event features FREE brats, burgers and hot dogs served with chips, Local Pantry salad and beans. Ecumenical gathering at Big Grove Lutheran to feature local book author Juli Bohmer
Big Grove Lutheran church in North Fork Township will host the annual local Ecumenical Gathering on Wednesday, June 12 at 7 p.m. This year's feature speaker is local children's book author Juli Bohmer. A 1996 graduate of Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa high school, Bohmer will be speaking about her journey of publishing children's books including her inspiration behind the stories and the publishing process. East Norway Lake Lutheran church cemetery board invites everyone to a fundraiser lunch on Saturday, June 15 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the ENL church fellowship hall. Grief Support group in Belgrade
Whether you are grieving a recent loss or one from years ago, all are welcome to meet with others who have known similar losses, including loss of a parent, child, sibling, spouse, job, or health. This group meets once each month for 90 minutes on the third Tuesday of the month. They meet next on Wednesday, June 19 at the Big Grove/Crow River/Grace Lutheran parish office in Belgrade from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. (downtown Belgrade at the municipal building). All faiths are welcome. Chippewa Falls Lutheran church 150th anniversary celebration
It's celebration time in Terrace! (This summer.) On Saturday and Sunday, August 3-4, 2024, the Chippewa Falls Lutheran church in Terrace will celebrate their 150th anniversary of their founding. The weekend begins with a special Sunday School reunion on Saturday, August 3 for anyone who has gone to Sunday School at Chippewa Falls Lutheran plus their families. Come for visiting plus an evening potluck meal, including Sloppy Joes, hot dogs and beverages to be provided. This is from 2 to 6 p.m. Then on Sunday, August 4, join them for a special 150th anniversary church service at 10 a.m. with a catered meal to follow.
