GE15: MCA will continue to prioritise the people's interests, even as part of Opposition, says Dr Wee

KUALA LUMPUR: MCA will continue to prioritise the people’s interests even as part of the Opposition, says Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.

The MCA president said they respected the people’s decision in the 15th General Election (GE15).

“In the absence of the people’s mandate, Barisan Nasional has lost favour to form the government.

“Therefore, MCA is prepared to perform its role as part of the Opposition,” he told a press conference at Wisma MCA here Tuesday (Nov 22).

Dr Wee thanked supporters who had stood alongside the party all these years.

He emphasised that the party would continue to put the people’s interests as its priority.
