I read quite a few of Boldt's comedy books before, so this book was a total surprise for me. A great surprise! 👏😱
This is a story about heartbreak and tragedy, betrayal and revenge... About a strong heroine (mentally and physically 💪) who reminded me that life is short and time should be devoted to cherish the people we love - in every opportunity we have. ❤
While I enjoyed this book and read it eagerly, it wasn't a typical mafia romance and towards the end there were some twists that I didn't see coming, but made me roll my eyes because they didn't make much sense. It had insanely hot scenes (!!!) but aside from amazing sexual chemistry, I didn't really feel an emotional connection between the characters. 😬

Even so, I could totally imagine this story as a movie, on the big screen! Just imagine... Jason Statham (because if there's a bald hero, it has to be him! 😂) and Mila kunis are out seeking vengeance... Damn, I WOULD WANT TO SEE THAT!!! 😍😍😍
So if you want read a book full of emotion and pain, action and passion... I totally recommend this book! 💥

HELL HATH NO FURY: Is a full length romantic/suspense book by R.C. Boldt. Spoken in 'Dual Perspectives.'I've only read a few by this author but when I saw this making its way around the WWW and with one look at the synopsis I had to get my hands on it!!
This story is about Caitlin a woman who had everything and then within a blink of an eye she was the sole survivor, losing a much loved six year old daughter, her husband and father, in broad daylight as they were all at their family owned business 'Bullard's Gun & Pawn' nearly succeeding in taking her life also.
Always be aware of your surroundings. Anything can be used as a weapon. Never offer your trust easily.
Now she has the Dixie Mafia in her sights. Half the town is in their pockets, law enforcement is as corrupt as they are.
Now Caitlin is on the run..
After losing everyone she loved she reinvents herself as a vigilante taking out the very men who killed her loved ones in cold blood. Now she's extinguishing them all one by one.
But now she's on The Hunters radar, a contract killer that has been employed to being down the person killing their members.
It's raw, gritty, nail biting, an emotional roller coaster of a ride, everything you'd expect to encounter with what our heroine endured.
Caitlin was such a badass heroine, strong, resilient, as tough as nails, who kicked ass with a bow and arrow.
This pulled me in as soon as I started it, life was put on hold as I devoured this, inhaled this, loved this. Twists and turns that had me racing through the pages like something chasing me, wanting, needing to find out how the author was going to wrap it all up.

The second I read this synopsis, I knew this would be my first RC Boldt book. Heck, the cover didn't exactly talk me out of it either. A revenge plot AND a badass heroine all in one? Sign me the hell up!
Hell Hath No Fury was a non-stop thrill ride full of grit, vengeance, plot twists, and a sizzling romance in the backdrop of a heart-pounding suspense. In a word, it was DELICIOUS.
Now I love me a good revenge plot, but there's something so much more delicious when the one wreaking the vengeance is a female. A female that lost her entire world in one heartbreaking and violent moment, and never recovered. A female that had all of the odds stacked against her, who tried to go up against an organization that has everyone in their pocket and it cost her even more. When she couldn't get justice the legal way, she turned to a different way. A way that turned her into judge, jury, and executioner. And I was SO HERE FOR IT.
There was something equally vulnerable and badass about Caitlin that I couldn't get enough of. She goes after her revenge knowing full well that she doesn't walk out of it in the end. She wants justice for her family and the only way to get it is to go after those that took it from her and make them pay.
Now as for the hero? GAH. This man. GAH. I don't even know what to tell you without spoiling it. But let's just say he was the perfect balance to Caitlin's badass, because he was just as big of one himself. He gives intense a new meaning. He was mysterious, enigmatic, secretive, and I fell hard and fast.
Now in all fairness, if you don't read a lot of suspense, this book is dang near perfect. As a reader that reads a ton in this genre, there were a few plot...things that didn't quite add up for me. Not plot holes, necessarily, but things that came together a little too perfectly without much explanation, that I wish we got a little more of. Like the seven years that Caitlin spent away and how she got there. We get most of it off the pages, but I would have loved more. I also didn't quite love the twist at the end.
Now all that aside, I still devoured this book. It was addictive. The story was quick-paced and full of action and with a sizzling romance that I couldn't get enough of. It was different, and unique, and I seriously loved it. I'm definitely a new RC Boldt fan and highly recommend this book if you're looking for something that will keep you on your toes and reading well into the night.

Talk about bad a** female heroine!! Hell Hath No Fury was action packed, sexy, vengeful, heartbreaking, mysterious, you name it, and it had it. This was no ordinary simple read. I felt like I needed a cigarette while reading certain scenes!! It was that good.
Sometimes in life, we’re struck with the unthinkable tragedy and for Caitlyn, this one came knocking on her door and held no remorse. How can you pick yourself up after something like that? The pain indescribable, the loss is crippling, but the anger and vengeance is the one thing that is going to fuel this woman and make sure that her family gets their own justice.
Seven years might seem like a long time to carry out the kind of deadly acts that a person would want to inflict on another human being but for Caitlyn, the one thing that she’s always known is that good things comes to those who wait and patience is a skill set. One by one the people that are responsible for the death of her family will pay and it won’t be a slow death. Kindness is overrated, sympathy is unavailable, and inflicting pain on evil is her only kind of therapy. But her plans are about to go a little haywire when she crosses paths with a man who not only sets her veins on fire, but changes the way things will go forward in her future plans.
When I first saw the blurb for this story, I had a really good feeling about this book and I’m so happy I took a chance on this one because it’s worth it. I’ve never read anything from this author and I have to say that that I’m really in love with her writing style! These characters were faced with the ultimate tragedy and we not only felt their grief and anger, but we were given bursts of love and hope in the darkest moments which gave us the ability to keep going forward.
This was a very action packed story and I freakin loved that!!! Caitlyn and Hunter both had their own story to tell and when those two came together? You FELT it. Their passion felt like a racing heartbeat and their connection was palpable. The only thing I was not too much of a fan of was the plot twist towards the end and I wanted certain things to be played out a bit more. Aside from that, this was a solid unputdownable read that will make you want to be a bada** heroine just for a day.

Their first meeting was full of sparks and their connection full of passion and desire.
Very well written, intense and intriguing, fast paced, filled with lies, betrayal, twists and turns. I really enjoyed it❣️

They don’t realize that when it comes to a woman like me, hell hath no fury.
Outstanding writing from the amazing RC Boldt !!!!
This book is a fast pace thriller suspense romance with plenty of action and a plot with twists and turns and characters that were complexed and unique. This story is about a woman who's need for revenge and justice has driven her to become a ruthless killer! Caitlin Ashford lost her father,husband and little girl to the Dixie Mafia when they wanted to send her father a message because he wouldn't let them use his business for one of their fronts and it ended up costing him his life and her husband and daughter lives as well. When the case is dismissed because of insufficient evidence by a crooked judge who she recognized as one of the men sent to intimidate her to shut her mouth or she'd end up dead too the judge orders her to undergo a full psychiatric evaluation. Thanks to a Doc Hogue a old friend of her fathers, he helps her to escape and she's spent 7 long years becoming a killing machine! One by one she's killing members of the Dixie mafia and every kill just brings her closer to the men that took everything she loved away. With the bodies piling up everywhere and not knowing who's behind the murders the Dixie Mafia calls in the Hunter! With a reputation as a emotionless killer who can track anyone down no matter where they're hiding its only a matter of time before he finds Caitlin. I loved both these characters!! Each has been through hell and both have a reason to bring down the Dixie mafia! What starts out as a game of cat and mouse quickly becomes a intense attraction but neither is willing to let go of their vendettas. But when they both put their cards on the table and secrets are told they decide to team up!! And that's when things go from interesting to explosive. And the twist at the end when one of the players steps from the shadows is jaw dropping! RC Boldt is a fantastic writer who pulls you in with well written words and characters that are strong,complexed and who sometimes walk a thin line between right and wrong. While some would call what Caitlin did vigilante justice I dont! I'm more of a eye for a eye girl. So when justice turned her back on her she had every right to get her own justice and I cheered for her every step of the way! She deserved to find some kind of happiness after losing so much! And Hunter did too! Until next time Luv's💕💋

Why or why did I wait so long to read this author? Hell Hath No Fury by R.C. Boldt is a blockbuster read full of action, suspense, mystery, and passion. A story of redemption, it packs a massively powerful punch.
Caitlyn is a woman scorned who has lost everything in her personal and professional life. She sets out on a mission to make justice for herself, no matter what the cost. On her journey, she discovers secrets about her past and uncovers truths that have been kept from her. On her quest, she meets a handsome stranger who will alter the course of her quest and her life forever.
Overall, Hell Hath No Fury is told with vivid detail and is full of twists and turns. It will keep you guessing until the very end. R.C. Boldt has a knack for creating strong female characters that readers can identify with and cheer on as they take control of their lives. The romance in this book is hot, passionate, and intense with every turn of the page! It’s a thrilling story with an ending you won’t see coming!

Hell Hath No Fury is a story that will make you feel a range of emotions: hate, sadness, fear, remorse, and love. The heroine is strong, fierce, witty, and very likable. The author weaves the story through the eyes of all the main characters and makes you want to know more about them. Everything flows yet there are unexpected twists and turns. I must say that I was greatly surprised at how much I really like this book. The mystery, action, and romance are exceptionally well-written. The story was well-paced, too. I became fully engrossed that kept me on my toes right from the beginning. I have found a new author to enjoy, and couldn't be more pleased. I highly recommend it and plan to read more of her work.

Hell hath no fury LIKE A WOMAN SCORNED!!! Yeah I’m the woman scorned with a totally ridiculous story 😡 this was just super unrealistic with plot holes deeper than a borehole. I had to skim a lot to be able to finish.

With the aptly titled Hell Hath No Fury, RC Boldt shows off some scintillating, exciting and wildly impressive romantic suspense chops.
I mean...dang.
I have read every single book by this author. Each book has delighted and engaged me in a different way. But none of them have been like this. This foray into a darker world. The violence. The grit. This fiercely righteous heroine who is one part superhero, one part broken and vulnerable human. I have read every single book by this author. Each book has delighted and engaged me in a different way. But none of them have been like this. This foray into a darker world. The violence. The grit. 3 i-really-wanted-to-love-it stars
Hell Hath No Fury attracted me with that pretty cover and great blurb. It also had some of my favorite things :
Kick-ass Heroine ✅
Intense hero ✅
Revenge trope ✅
After the last couple of disastrous reads I've had this week, I was looking forward to it. Alas, it just didn't live up to my expectations. 😔
The beginning of the book was decent for me, I love me a killer heroine (pun intended). Caitlin is a woman whose life was destroyed by the Dixie Mafia. The only thing she lives for is vengeance, and after 7 long years of grueling training (briefly mentioned which was disappointing), she's ready to take her pound of flesh.
Enter Hunter, a contract killer (supposedly the best) tasked with finding the killer who's been targeting the mafia members. While he's seemingly working with the mafia, he also has his own agenda.
At this point, before their meeting (they only met in chapter 23), I was enjoying myself and feeling like I finally got rid of the black cloud of meh books that was hanging over my head for the past week.
But then they met, and my enjoyment level went downhill from there. 😔
Why, you ask ? Allow me to make you a list.
1. The instant connection they shared was a little too instant for me. I generally don't like instant anything but can overlook it if it's convincing enough. That wasn't the case here, sadly.
2. Did I mention they connected way too instantly for my liking? Yes, but it bears repeating.
3. Hunter was supposed to be this cold, feared "best of the best" contract killer, but was he though? I mean, he did threaten a couple of people with guns and yes he talked a big game but it was just meh (really starting to hate this word). I would've liked to experience it, not just be told about it I guess.
4. That plot twist? Not impressed, my friends.
5. Everything was resolved too neatly and perfectly. Where's the conflict? The "oh shit i didnt plan for this" moment? My heart didn't race, I wasn't flipping the pages with my heart in my throat wanting to know what happens next, and that is what I expect from a romantic suspense.
To be fair, maybe it was a ME thing, because everybody else seemed to like this. Not that I didn't like it, because I did. It was a decent book that I don't regret reading and of which I enjoyed some parts, but I just didn't love it. And I really wanted to love it.
For transparency's sake, my brain (against my direct orders, i swear) kept comparing it to The MindF*ck series, and that wasn't fair to this book. So you should definitely give it a chance, you just might love it. 😊

Amazing! To say I loved it is an understatement. The twists and turns I didn’t see coming!! I usually am the first to know all the twists but I definitely didn’t see some of these!
This is not what I have come to expect from RC but I have to say, this might be my favorite. Romantic suspense is one of my favorite genres and I’m so happy that some of my go to authors are writing it now.
Caitlin witnessed her family being murdered and after 7 years she is back for revenge. I have to say, there was definitely a lot of bloodshed, and every drop spilled was deserved.
The Hunter was hired to find out who was taking out so many members of the Dixie Mafia. Along the way, he meets a woman that he can’t get out of his head.
Of course you know that this woman is going to be the one he was hired to find, but you won’t see all these twists coming after.
If you like romantic suspense and books that you won’t want to put down (don’t we all?) you need to grab this one NOW! I had so many feelings as I was reading this, I absolutely loved it.

7 years ago, – Caitlin Ashford lost her family, and found herself on the run when the law proved to be as corrupt as those who killed her child, father and husband. She’s now back, no longer the care free woman she was, but instead trained and focused on eradiating every last worm that played a role in the deaths of those she loved.
A mix (kind of) between Jodi Foster’s character in The Brave One and the movie The Punisher, this book had the potential to be a gut-wrenching read that had me gripping my kindle until my knuckles whitened, alas that didn’t happen, but the book did engage me. There were two key moments that I found myself welling up and aching for Caitlin. I just feel the two core components of the story – Caitlin seeking revenge/retribution on those who so coldly destroyed her life and then the start of the romance between her and didn’t intertwine/mesh as richly and wonderfully as they could have. Both were good and at times really, really good, but they didn’t combine to be epic.
This book flashes back to the past and involves dual POV.
Caitlin is certainly the person I was rooting for in this read, and I was hoping that by the end she would obtain some piece and realise she needed to live rather than do what she had to do, and then die.
Also, and this is a big spoiler so steer clear if you want a surprise as you read, when it comes to

Whoa, whoa, whoa…stop the presses…what did I just read?! RC Boldt wows readers with this intensely powerful and profoundly emotional story of loss, violence, and vengeance.
There are so many things I want to say about this book, but I need to watch it because I’ll end up spoiling it for everyone. This story is pure revenge. Simple as that. Just imagine, what lengths would YOU go in order to bring down the people who took your loved ones away from you? Heartbreak, injustice, deceit, lies, fury, and a little bit of madness all combine to make an epic tale of one woman’s journey to take out the people responsible, and the system of corruption that failed her in her most critical time of need.
Caitlin was a kick-butt MF! And she had to be in order to accomplish what she was doing. I can’t imagine what it would feel like to lose your entire family, but I can understand the need to shut off all sensible thinking and let rage, pure anger, and hatred take over and wreak havoc on those who took everything from her.
Hell Hath No Fury is a complex and tortuously beautiful romantic suspense romance like we’ve never read before from the author. She reveals another layer to her already stunning writing style that is both wickedly disturbing and wholly encouraged. The only thing you’ll be saying after reading this book is “I WANT MORE.” Without a doubt, an incredible must-read!

Hell Hath No Fury is a freaking tour de force. R.C. Boldt nails it with this revenge story that’s both brutal and tender about a badass woman out for revenge and a contract killer who isn’t on her side. Crikey. Boldt shows off her versatility with this one. It’s dark and heart-wrenching and I stayed up all hours to finish it. Yes, it’s a romance, and it’s an amazing one. I don’t want to give anything away, but it’s intense and violent, with a searing love story. Hell Hath No Fury is one of those books that will stick with you and make you wonder what you would do in the protagonist’s situation. Creatively and beautifully told with twists that keep you guessing and a seriously emotional payoff, don’t miss this one!

WOW, this book BLEW MY MIND! This is such different writing from RC Boldt and I LOVED it. This was pure brilliance. Incredible, phenomenal writing like I have never experienced before. The story is not for the faint of heart. It is dark, gritty, emotional, intense and suspenseful! Hell Hath No Fury is the perfect title. Caitlin was out for blood after witnessing her husband, father and child murdered right before her eyes. My heart was in my throat from the very first page. The twists and turns blew my mind and I could not have seen them coming. She is one of the strongest heroine's I have EVER read! She is bad-ass, fearless and would leave no stone unturned. She is a fighter and a warrior and so incredibly strong. After being wronged by a corrupt justice system she is determined to take her life back and make them all pay and she does exactly that. The romance I could have never have seen coming! I do not want to say anything about him for fear of spoiling anything but the connection, the chemistry and everything to do with them from their first encounter had my heart beating wildly in my chest in anticipation! RC Boldt delivered on all accounts and this book is going to the top of my favorite reads of 2020!

Dang, RC Boldt comes with guns blazing in Hell Hath No Fury. An amazing read that drew me in from the first page. Vengeance, along with emotion, and pure fury from this incredible character. Caitlin was such an amazing female lead, she had fire and conviction which had me vying for her HEA. A few unexpected twists, but they were so welcome, I devoured this so quickly. IF you love your stories filled with revenge and emotion that will keep you on the edge of your seat, get this RIGHT THE HELL NOW!

4.5 bad ass stars!!
This story is one of pain and vengeance. Finding a bright light when you are in the middle of the abyss.
As soon as I read the blurb I was hooked. I think the beg on the book threw me a little. It was missing some emotion. I think if everything I love was taken away I would be destroyed, unable to function. BUT I will say Caitlyn is a bad bitch. So maybe she just handles it all different. After the first couple chapters I was hooked. I mean I did nothing but read.
I am always down with revenge against scum and what better way then the woman who lost it all kicking ass!! I loved the characters in this book.
The author drew me in. She painted this picture I couldn’t unsee if I wanted. There is a few places where it seems to easy but I honestly did mind much. A few people said the end was not good or whatever. I loved the end. Rarely do you get a glimpse of that and I def wanted it.
How can I forget about Mr Bad Ass himself, Hunter. Man I knew from the very first meeting I was gonna have the hots for him!! He is everything I love for in a book hottie! The sexual chemistry between the two was off the chain!!

This book elicited every emotion! Anger, joy, sadness, fear, and revenge. I was on the edge of my seat and I read this book in one day! I could not put it down. As a mother, I was cheering as Caitlin began exacting her revenge. The title nailed it because hell hath no fury as a mother with nothing left to lose. She totally goes all John Wick on all the people that did her wrong! And boy does she do it well! I LOVED IT!!!
Caitlin was badass. She had a dream life until it was all taken away. Then the justice system failed her, and she had no choice but to get her revenge and dole out her own form of justice! Damn! Just damn! You definitely didn't want to be the one hearing "I'm coming for you" or "You're Next"
Every time I thought I had it figured out, I was thrown for a loop! The twists and turns kept coming and when I got to the end of the book, I was exhausted! This story is bloody, violent, depraved and freaking awesome!
There is steam that will set your kindle ablaze, there are characters that will reach your soul, and a tale that will flip you on your ass!
The characters were perfectly imperfect! The bad guys were evil assholes, and I cheered with each act of revenge! Yep, I am twisted like that, I guess! This book surprised me, and this author needs to write more books in this genre because she NAILED IT!
I love my dark stories and this one was dark! But what was even better was its uniqueness!! This book has all my recommendations and I definitely recommend to anyone who likes to walk on the dark side. You won’t be disappointed! I will definitely look forward to more books by this author!

WOW. This is phenomenal romantic suspense. This book had everything and gave me all the feels. From the first page I was hooked and invested in Caitlin and her vengeance. There’s a huge twist that had my jaw on the floor and heart racing....I was so angry for her and cried with her. I felt all of her emotions. You NEED this book if you like fast paced storytelling, strong as hell female heroines, all the feels, and vengeance for a horrible crime. 👏🏼 This 👏🏼 Book 👏🏼 is 👏🏼 Everything 👏🏼

I’m always eager to dive into the next R.C. Boldt book, which meant I jumped right into Hell Hath No Fury. It’s different to the author’s prior work, being a romantic suspense, but it hooked me in the same way as the author’s other work. In fact, I’m eager to see more romantic suspense books with R.C. Boldt on the cover.
I will be completely honest and say it took a while before the romance of this one sucked me in. The suspense part of the story was great from the start, but the romance was slower to develop than I usually like. It made sense for this story, but I had wanted more as I’m a big fan of slow burn romances. This, of course, is just personal preference. Despite this, the story more than hooked.
With plenty packed into the pages, Hell Hath No Fury will have you hooked and desperate to see how everything will come together. The deeper into the story you get, the more there is to be hooked on, ensuring you do not want to put the book down.
All in all, Hell Hath No Fury was another winner from R.C. Boldt. Although it’s not my favourite book from the author, it’s more than worth the read.

Hell Hath No Fury is a totally different wheelhouse than I’m used to from RC Boldt and this story captivated me right from the start. I was taken on a journey of immense heartbreak, desperation and longing that empowered a woman to get revenge against the people that turned her world upside down. But this tale was so much more than that because it reminded me how resilient human beings can be and how much we can overcome when we choose to fight our way out of the darkness and into the light. RC wove a compelling story of living through hell and falling in love because of a chance encounter where they embraced their true selves and let nothing stand in their way.

3.75 stars!!
The story was awesome. This author really knows how to wrap us up in her books. This would be my second read from her and I really liked my journey.
Caitlin had everything taken from her. Her dad. Her daughter. Her husband. All killed cold blooded by the Dixie Mafia.
She, instead of getting the psych evaluation that the crooked judge had asked her to do after dismissing her case, decides to leave the country and prepare herself for revenge.
I would have loved to see her getting her fighting lessons and getting into the badass character she became after. It kinda all of a sudden happened. She went away and came back a master in self defence and other fighting skills. That part was not in the book and I would have loved to see her transformation. Instead the author decided to just let us have a glimpse of the time she was abroad. It lacked in the book because I didn’t believe that she was that good you know?! That’s why the author lost .25 stars.
The last 3 chapters were also a bit useless. We didn’t have to know about all the other stuff that happens after except the last one that is going to probably set up her next book.
All in all a great read. The characters were fun. The doggie was super cute!

Caitlin had everything taken from her. Her dad. Her daughter. Her husband. All killed cold blooded by the Dixie Mafia.
She, instead of getting the psych evaluation that the crooked judge had asked her to do after dismissing her case, decides to leave the country and prepare herself for revenge.
I would have loved to see her getting her fighting lessons and getting into the badass character she became after. It kinda all of a sudden happened. She went away and came back a master in self defence and other fighting skills. That part was not in the book and I would have loved to see her transformation. Instead the author decided to just let us have a glimpse of the time she was abroad. It lacked in the book because I didn’t believe that she was that good you know?! That’s why the author lost .25 stars.
The last 3 chapters were also a bit useless. We didn’t have to know about all the other stuff that happens after except the last one that is going to probably set up her next book.
All in all a great read. The characters were fun. The doggie was super cute!

Wow, loved this book!
I have to say I loved a book that has a a$$ kicking woman and this book was perfect. Kate was a woman out for revenge against the Dixon Mafia for a very good reason, I was with her all the way, but the mafia had plan to find out who was cause problems for them , they hired a killer by the name Hunter, I loved him and his dog kujo. This story is so interesting and has action and sexy scenes very hot to me, Hunter and Kate are so connected but don't know it. There is a surprise near the end that was nice and a awesome ending, this is a new author so I am going to check out her other books . I highly recommend this book to all romance readers!💗

Esse é o primeiro livro que leio dessa autora e me surpreendeu, em certos momentos parecia que estava vendo um seriado que costumava acompanhar anos atras: Arrow.
Gostei da ideia do livro, achei a escrita boa, a ideia original e bem desenvolvida. A parte do suspense e vingança despertaram meu interesse e confesso que a sua revelações me pegaram de surpresas. O romance no começo não senti muita conexão entre eles, mas acabei achando o desfecho deles perfeito para o livro.
