Corvallis River Guardians Trashy Thursday:
Crystal Lake: Kendall Floodplain Cleanup

WHAT: Join Willamette Riverkeeper and the City of Corvallis Parks team as we help clean up the floodplain above Crystal Lake by bagging up debris spread out across the floodplain over the last year, affecting water quality in this important wildlife habitat area.

WHERE: Park and meet in the parking area closest to Crystal Lake/Willamette Boat Ramp. We'll access the floodplain by trails located north of the parking lot trailhead. 

WHEN: Thursday, March 16th | 9am - 12pm

DETAILS: Please be on time. Bring water and a reusable coffee cup, dress for cold weather and wear sturdy shoes for safety against sharps and walking in uneven terrain. We will be collecting and bagging trash from the mud and surrounding vegetation and trees, and using wheelbarrows, we'll move it up to the main trail for ATV pickup and removal. Trash bags, gloves, grabbers, rakes, shovels, and snacks will be provided.
