    Dr Benjamin Au Yeung

    Dr Benjamin Au Yeung Wai Hoo (Ben Sir), is a scholar in Linguistics. Apart from his career in academia, Benjamin is also a host, actor and the former senior lecturer at the Chinese University of Hong Kong’s Department of Chinese Language and Literature. Benjamin completed a Bachelor’s degree in English and Master of Philosophy at Chinese University of Hong Kong in 1995 and in 1997 respectively. He obtained his PhD at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2005. Awarded “LSHK Outstanding Thesis Award” by the Linguistic Society of Hong Kong, Benjamin’s academic publications were cited by top universities, such as Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and University of Cambridge etc. Besides his career in education, Benjamin writes columns for “Ming Pao”. His passages are extended to other media platforms, such as “Hong Kong Economic Journal”, “The Sing Tao Daily” and “Oriental Daily News” as well.

    Dr Rosa Kwok’s mission is to bring evidence-based strategies to families and schools. As an education professional with over 13 years of rigorous laboratory research training and a strong publication record in peer-reviewed child psychology journals, Dr. Kwok is a subject matter expert in issues of emotional and literacy development in the monolingual and multilingual population. Her current research is focused on the strength profile and emotional development in children with dyslexia and bilingual pupils.

    Mr Peter Pak

    Mr Pak joined BOCI in 2004 and currently Executive Director and Head of Retail Trading Department at BOCI Securities. He was born in Beijing while grew up in Hong Kong and graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Madison in the United States, majoring in finance. Mr. Pak has nearly 30 years of experience in the financial industry and previously worked for various financial institutions including Sun Hung Kai & Nomura etc. in equity research. He has covered conglomerate, aviation, consumer, infrastructure, and small-cap sectors & has participated in some major IPO transactions such as CNOOC & Ping An Insurance. In addition, Mr. Pak is an active spokesperson for BOCI, appearing regularly in several media from both Hong Kong and the mainland, including CCTV, TVB &.I-Cable He is also a frequent presenter in investment seminars among affiliated institutions within the Bank of China Group, including BOCHK, BOC Macau as well as other subsidiaries in the mainland.     Mr Alex Chan is the current chairman of the Hong Kong Sea Transport and Logistics Association, and it is also the second time to serve as the chairman. After graduating from school, Mr. Chan received training as a senior deck officer of Golden Peak Shipping Co., Ltd., aka OOCL, and has been serving in the shipping and logistics industry for more than 40 years. Among them, his services are ship management companies, container liner companies, container terminals, container leasing, container management, international freight forwarders, Asia-Pacific and global supply chain management companies, consulting service companies, etc. Engaged in seafarers, operations and operations management, global supply chain control tower, mergers and acquisitions, supply chain design and solutions, digitalization and other positions, ranging from Hong Kong, South China, Central/East China, Asia Pacific and the global. Mr Chan’s career start from in seafaring, specialising in maritime logistics and supply chain management services. His working experience started in Hong Kong and expanded to regional and global freight.     Mr Jo Li

    From 2012 to 2017, Mr Jo Li served as the Marketing Manager at the Hong Kong Football Association. During this time, he led a series of marketing campaigns and brand revitalization initiatives. These efforts aimed to raise public awareness of Hong Kong football and enhance fan engagement. The grand annual “Hong Kong Football Star Awards” is one of his notable projects. Mr Jo Li implemented integrated marketing strategies, including new logos, themes, and extensive promotional activities. These efforts contributed to the creation of a fresh image for the Hong Kong Premier League and the Hong Kong national team. He also established the first dedicated store for the Hong Kong national team. Mr Jo Li is adept at leveraging platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube, in conjunction with CRM strategies and website enhancements, to increase public awareness of Hong Kong football and boost fan participation.

    Ms Lee, Yeon Soo

    Yeon Soo Lee is a cartoonist based on Jeju Island, South Korea, who studied art at Emily Carr University of Art + Design in Canada. Her bright and imaginative comics depict everyday scenes of friendship and love between dogs and humans. She currently serialises comics in The Hankyoreh, one of the largest daily newspapers in Korea, and on Instagram with over 12.4K followers. She has also published a comic book series called "A Dance with You" which consists of volumes 1 to 5. Additionally, she held a solo exhibition in 2018, and a new exhibition will be held in June this year in Korea.

    Mr Shen, the facilitator, studied Korean at the Korean Language Institute of Yonsei University. He has been teaching Korean at various universities for almost 20 years.

    Ms Laura Yamina Bermeo Mazzeo is a native Spanish language teacher from Argentina. She has been working as a Spanish language teacher at different institutions and universities in Hong Kong for over 20 years. Besides, having completed her accredited yoga teacher training at the International Yoga Academy, she has taught yoga to different age groups in both English and Spanish. With her experience of serving in the family-run yoga studio in Argentina and then teaching yoga, Pilates and aerobics in several fitness centers in Ecuador, she started her first yoga classes in Hong Kong on Lamma Island in 2013, and up to now, there are over 130 participants in her Yoga group.

    Niu Niu(Zhang Shengliang)

    Niu Niu(Zhang Shengliang) unveiled his exceptional talent at the age of three and graduated from the New York’s Juilliard School in 2018. In 2010, Niu Niu was named the youngest laureate of the PRIX Montblanc in Berlin. In 2012, as the first laureate of the Artemisia Foundation, he made his debuts in Boston’s Jordan Hall and Yale University’s Sprague Hall. In 2017, he was invited to perform for the presidents of China, Russia, India, Brazil and South Africa at the BRICS summit evening gala. In 2018-19, Niu Niu dubbed the piano performance of the character Wei Pang in NHK’s animated version of "Piano no Mori", which was broadcast worldwide on Netflix. In 2016-22, Niu Niu completed world tours across China, Japan, the Americas and Europe.

    Dr Lee Yung Yung Elsa

    Under the tutelage of Van Cliburn medalist Barry Snyder, Elsa earned her Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Piano Performance and Literature from the Eastman School of Music, with a minor in Instrumental Conducting. She was awarded the Vaughan Scholarship from Eastman and worked as a graduate assistant in studio and orchestral accompanying. Elsa also earned her Master of Music Studies from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and her Bachelor (Hons) of Music degree from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. Her teachers include renowned pianists and pedagogues Nancy Loo, Raymond Young, Elizabeth Powell, and Gerard Willems. Besides performing, Elsa is also a dedicated educator. She obtained a Master of Education degree from Columbia University in New York, USA. Elsa is also an active presenter at music education conferences and received the “Best Presentation Award” at the College Music Society Northeast Conference. She was selected as one of the five Yamaha Graduate Fellows to work closely with deans and music faculty from across the United States at the Eastman Music Leadership Conference in 2017. Elsa taught applied piano lessons at Columbia University and Chamber Music at ArtsAhimsa Chamber Music Festival in Lenox, MA, USA. Elsa is currently a lecturer and piano faculty at Hong Kong Baptist University, Hong Kong University - School of Professional and Continuing Education, and an honours project advisor at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts.

    Mr Rex Shiu

    Mr Rex Shiu is a professional with more than ten years of experience in art restoration. His art processing level covers antiques and contemporary art, such as porcelain, mixed-media, sculptures, and paintings, to name a few. He mainly serves private collectors, auction houses, galleries, artists, insurance brokers and art logistics companies. In addition to assessing artworks' conditions, repairing damaged works, and providing art maintenance plans, this involves highly detailed technical work, such as evaluating the risks of art transportation and packaging and providing professional solutions. Regarding consulting services, he needs to provide customers with strategic and targeted solutions, recommends display spaces for artworks at art events of different scales, and set requirements for short-, medium-, and long-term storage and collection.

    Ms Jeannie Wu

    Ms Jeannie WU is an experienced Consultant with a Master of Arts in Literary & Cultural Studies from The University of Hong Kong and a demonstrated history of working in the management consulting industry. Wu’s role as an assistant to the art dealer at Vermillion Art Collections allowed Wu to gain in-depth insight into contemporary art collecting and connect closely with artists, particularly helping renowned local artist ‘Frog King’ to organise his studio. She actively engaged in various large-scale projects as a Project Officer at the Hong Kong Arts Centre, administering the project ‘Hong Kong Short Film: New Action Express’ sponsored by CreateHK. Wu then further expanded and consolidated her network within the local art scene during her freelance work supporting the artist-run initiative Painting On and On. After 4 years of working as Personal Assistant to collector/consultant/curator William Zhao, Wu took up key positions at K11 Art Foundation as Cultural Manager and then as the Director of HART Collective to lead within the art and cultural industry, break boundaries and connect creative talents within the network. By March 2022, she completed a contract with Alan Chan Design Company as an Art Consultant & Strategist. She is now a part-time Program Manager at the College of Humanities & Law of HKU School of Professional and Continuing Education (SPACE) and a devoted art & cultural advisor, founding her company Legacies Collective Limited, providing consultation services to personal and collaborative partnership projects.

    Dr Leung Yung, College Lecturer; PhD (Sun Yat-Sen University), MA (HKU). Dr Leung has been teaching Chinese language, history and culture for about 30 years. He currently serves as an Education Director of the Hong Kong Docent Association and a Council member of the Hong Kong Teachers' Association. Besides publication of two books and a serious of articles on journals and newspapers, Dr Leung had been invited as a guest speaker for RTHK and TVB with theme on Hong Kong heritage.
