Best book yet from this author! From childhood friends to lovers to enemies and back to lovers. This book takes you on an emotional and epic ride to show you love triumphs over all! I loved this book soooo much! Ready for the next book!

This book was the definition of romantic suspense.. holy moly! I was on the edge of my seat the whole time! In this book we meet Brittney and Hawk who were once childhood friends turned lovers have now turned into enemies. Hawk left Brittney once before but is now back in town years later.
Brittney feels she has nothing left to say to Hawk but once some things from the past get brought up they realize they both didn't know the whole story of what happened between one another.
At first glance you would think this is just a small town romance but there are definitely some darker aspects that help the suspense in this story! I don't want to give too much away but Hawk's past comes back to haunt him and he must finally fight for Brittney instead of walking away like he did before!
This book had so many twists and turns.. just when you thought things were going good..BAM something new would happen! I didn't expect some of the things that went down but it kept me reading til the very last page!

This is the first book I have read by A.B Medley and I enjoyed Hawk and Brittney's story. Hawk and Brittney fight through some hard situations and show that love can truly conquer anything. The suspense had me hooked and there were a few surprises. I enjoyed the development of their relationships with the other characters as well.
There was references to secondary characters so I would recommend reading the other books in the series prior too. I had not but still enjoyed the book. I look forward to reading more in the series and seeing the characters further development.

Hawk and Brittney were best friends from the moment they met. Then life got in the way and fate brought them back together. Things have a terrible tendency to derail when they are going so right. Hawk has waited and he is now moving in and pushing his way into her life again. So many secrets and forms of betrayal are revealed. Will Hawk be able to hold on to what he loves more than anything or will history repeat itself. I was given an ARC through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Fighting for the Truth is the fourth book on AB Medley’s Fighting for the Truth series, and I am here for it. I love a chance for every character to get a story, but unfortunately, Hawk and Brittany’s story fell a little flat for me. The romance was great. Some of the side story was hard for me to follow. I wanted to like the characters, but there was so much going on between them that it was hard for me to see how we got to the end. I definitely feel like this book fell in line with the series, though.

I enjoyed the romance in this but the other stuff was kind of confusing to me. I didn't fully understand it and it took away from my enjoyment. The first part of the book when they just focused on the romance was good though. I liked seeing them actually talk about what happened when they were younger and be able to get over it.

I love when I get hit with a “ well, I didn’t see that coming”. This was book 4 in A B Medleys finding the Truth series and I swear each book just gets better. It was one of those stories that you find yourself thinking about days after you finish the read. I have to say Hawk and Brittany’s story has been my favorite of the series. The love scenes and “hate” scenes were smoking 🔥. The storyline was intense and kept you guessing right up until the end. I think I might have a little crush on Hawk Abbott. Highly recommend the whole series or this book as a standalone.

The pace of the story, secondary characters - friends added to their romance and plot. They are both complex, flawed characters. The inner dialogue also helped their progression and character development. Their banter / encounters kept me glued to the pages as well as their explosive chemistry and genuine understanding. Both have been through so much, but it also made them stronger.

Hawk and Brittany's journey is like a light, switch it on, switch it off, switch it back on. They had so many lies, mis-understandings, assumptions, lack of communication issues both between them and those around them, that it's hard to work out who's the real villian here.
In their switched on mode, they make a beautiful couple who ooze chemistry. The switched off mode kind of made me want to scream at the pair of them, so many promises they were quick to make each other, then not so much break them but side line them.
There is an intricate cast of supporting characters, family, friends and enemies who influenced or were very much involved in events that happened in the past and again now in the present. Brittany was pretty niave in the past and honestly, I think she still is although maybe not quite so obviously. Hawk I think needed to grow a pair, and yes I think he did but in my mind he still lacked maturity and jumped on the smallest of things without thinking about what he was about to do.
Fighting for the Truth is an enjoyable read and I look forward to reading more in this series.

Hawk and Brittany were the best of friends at one point until things came between them. I'm telling you I was about to pull my hair out with everything that got in their way as I wanted to scream LOL! They're definitely perfect for each other, and their chemistry is on point making for some serious heat but then some new thing would derail them all over again so the push & pull was definitely super frustrating. I know there were outside forces helping that derailment all over the place, but there was some from them as well which had me yelling at my kindle hoping they could hear me. I will say this, it kept me turning the pages like a madwoman that's for sure as I needed to see how it would all pan out at the end of the day. I don't want to say much more because it's just so much better to experience it all for yourselves as it's a story that will take you hostage until every last page is finished! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This is Book 4 in the Finding the Truth Series and my first read by this author, and I must say that I quite enjoyed the storyline and the characters. It is a frenemies to lovers romance between Hawk and Brittney. These two flawed but likeable souls and the unique plot make for an intriguing read. Once they reconnect, their sizzling chemistry and strong connection are undeniable as they navigate the bumpy road to their forever after. It is a love story with drama and steam, sexual tension and chemistry, and twists and turns, plus appealing secondary characters to keep the reader interested. Entertaining.

This is the fourth book in this incredible series, and this is Hawk and Brittney’s story, and in my opinion, this is the best story to date! These two flawed characters were best friends since they met but were torn apart by life and circumstances. Fate has destined Hawk and Brittney to cross paths again, and the chemistry between them is intense and undeniable.
This is a well written action packed, emotional roller coaster, with a love / hate relationship, friends / enemies / lovers’, tale, with challenges, truths, secrets, betrayal, trust, second chances, and love, which leads to an entertaining, unpredictable, tragic, twisted, and steamy addictive page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

This story pulled in a lot of elements that I typically enjoy in a romance, but I had a difficult time attaching to the characters. I really liked Hawk’s commitment to fighting for Brittney and his willingness to put himself on the line to save her. While part of the central conflict didn’t work for me, these two really go through it to get back to each other and I love when the main characters have to work for their happily ever after!

Wait, what?
I knew these two had a story to tell, but I never saw any of this coming.
The author did so well keeping all this under wraps till now. It was SO close to being a top read for me, there were just a few niggling things, mostly when I wanted to bang some heads together. Trust me though, it's completely worth it in the end, and definitely my favourite book of the series so far.
Definitely highly recommend, the twists will keep you on the edge of your seat from cover to cover.
I cannot wait to see what the author comes up with next.

What a wonderful book this was!! Brittany and Hawk's story was so suspenseful, romantic and very intriguing! They were both meant to be with each other since they were very young. They had their ups and downs throughout the years, but they couldn't fight their feelings for each other. What a great romance!!
This book has been one of my favorites of the series!! Can't wait for the next book by this author!

Unfortunately this one was a miss for me. There was a little bit (a lot) too much happening for me to keep up with all the plot points. I think it would have benefited the author to focus more on the rekindling of the relationship and one conflict point.

Never in a million years, did I see any of this coming. I had assumed Hawk and Brittney had some kind of hidden past, but it still didn’t prepare me for this story. It was my favourite in the series so far.
Hawk and Brittney are so head strong! They don’t talk, and think they know. Only they don’t know, and are completely blindsided when everything unfolds….A bit like I was reading.

I think I love Hawk and Brittney’s story the best thus far! It’s a page turner and I literally couldn’t put this book down. I cannot wait for the next book in the series!

More of a 3.5..Hawk and Brittney were each others everything….until they weren’t. Back in the same town again, one thing is for sure…they have a lot of resentment towards each other. These two each think the other wronged them and they won’t listen to any other explanation. This book is a layered story with a lot going on. We have mortal enemies, major family dysfunction and a whole bunch of lies. When I say a bunch of lies…I mean pretty much everyone is telling lies and hiding the truth one way or another. I enjoyed Hawk and his back story a lot. Brittany was a bit immature for me and her story was a little wishy washy for me. In all this story had great potential and I definitely am interested in watching the series grow and learning more about the other characters. I will definitely be reading the next book.
