Tashif "Sheefy McFly" Turner, born and raised Detroiter, is Motown's Renaissance Man. The multifaceted artist is a College for Creative Studies Alumni, and well rounded independent entrepreneur. Sheefy has over 20 murals in the city of Detroit spreading his "Sheefy Faces" and many different styles on walls all over the state of Michigan making his signature style become prolific. From his cubist, surrealist, and pop art influences, Sheefy creates his own subconscious gestural figures that grows stronger with every painting. Steady proving his own prolific nature, Sheefy has become an artistic force that cannot be reckoned with. As a musician Sheefy stands out in several different music genres. From Hip Hop to Techno Sheefy has a influential hand in trendsetting in both realms in Detroit. Founding "The Air Up There" a hip hop showcase where Dej Loaf and many other influential Detroit emcees had their first performance, Sheefy has always cultivated the scene. Plus with his consistent collaborations with Moodymann, DJ Godfather, and performing several times at Detroit Techno Festival "Movement" Sheefy shows a prominent future in the Techno & House world. Sheefy has also produced Hip Hop records for Danny Brown, Boldy James, Phat Kat, and many more Detroit heavy hitting emcees.
