Classic Chard Fritters

Ingredients

  • 1 package thawed swiss chard
  • 5 tablespoons of leavening flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • a touch of pepper
  • 3 tablespoons of milk
  • oil for frying

Steps

  1. If using fresh chard: Separate the chard leaves from the package, cut the stalk.
  2. Wash the leaves. Cook them in boiling salted water for a few minutes.
