Football Road Game at Holy Cross to be Played at Polar Park

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard Football's road game at Holy Cross during the 2023 season will be played at Polar Park, home of the Worcester WooSox, the Class AAA team of the Boston Red Sox. The Crimson's non-conference clash against its in-state foe is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 30, with kickoff to be announced at a later time.

Harvard and the Crusaders will continue a long-standing series in 2023, one that dates to 1904. The Crimson will enter the contest with a 45-26-2 advantage in the all-time series, but will look to avenge last season's 30-21 home loss. Despite the setback in 2022, Harvard has won three of the last four meetings, including two straight in Worcester, and is 6-2 against Holy Cross since 2012.

The Crimson will be the third visiting team to face Holy Cross at Polar Park, following Colgate in 2021 and Bucknell last season. Ticket information for the "EBW Football Classic" will be available in the coming months.

Harvard's participation in the "EBW Football Classic" will mark the second time since 2018 that it will have played football at a baseball stadium. That year, the Crimson played host to Yale at Fenway Park and emerged with a 45-27 victory.
