The Vânători-Neamţ Nature Park lies mainly in the Stânişoarei Mountains in the Eastern Carpathians and in the Moldavian Subcarpathians. It includes the Codrii de Aramă Nature Reserve where there are over 300 plant species that can be admired such as the 135 years old evergreen oak.

The park also includes the Silver Forest Reserve with its 100 years old birch trees.

The symbol of the park is the Dragoş Vodă Bison Reserve that harbours numerous bison.

There are nine hiking trails in the park with low to medium difficulty, and the administration also suggests tourist trails such as „Pe drumul Zimbrilor“ (On the bison trail), „Natura şi sacralitate“ (Nature and Spirituality) or „Turul Mănăstirilor“ (The Monastery Tour).

The activities in the park are in harmony with the life of the nearby communities, thus enhancing the attractiveness of the entire Neamţ county. Among other tourist attractions just as important as these are the Neamţ Fortress and the Agapia, Sihăstria or Văratec monasteries.
