Deliver Like a Nobel Prize Winner

Deliver Like a Nobel Prize Winner

Understand Human Biases.

As an executive you will understand how human bias effects your work. The ability to recognise and navigate these biases in your team, across your organisation, and beyond, is often the key element to delivering success.

But, did you know there are decision making biases, memory biases, probability biases, social biases; over 100 recognised biases to accommodate?

Think like a Nobel Prize Winner

Cognitive biases were explored by Amos Tversky & Daniel Kahneman, who went on to win a Nobel Prize for his work called ‘Prospect Theory’.

The theory includes the proposition that we regularly underestimate costs and overestimate benefits.

You may recognise this theory in your work to deliver transformation, projects or change?

Mastering Project Leadership

The Project Management Institute, the Association for Project Management, the International Project Management Association … they all agree that the ability to understand these biases and master your relational skills are essential to deliver successful projects and transformation.

But, where is a great place to explore these skills further?

It’s one of the areas we help you develop as part of the ‘Customised Cleverness Program’, specifically designed to support project and transformation professionals to deliver better. (BTW - you can explore the first step, for free, by going here. )

Or, just drop me a DM and I’ll send you a handy list of biases to be aware of.

And, if you get time, check out this great insight of Daniel Kahneman’s life from the Nobel Foundation here.
