Victoria 6 great books and 1 racist garbage book being praised to high heavens. There, I fixed your headline.

message 9: by Sarah (new)

Sarah 5 great books and 2 book by money-grubbing anti-library (anti-lower-income, anti-student, anti-disability) Macmillan imprints.

Which is the 2nd book to avoid? Only aware of the issues with American Dirt.

Me too!!

message 12: by Jillian (new)

Jillian Brown Done with righteous Goodreads users and their obsession with author identities. Stop one-starring books you’ll never read in your attempt to make sure every author only writes “in their lane,” only writes characters sharing their racial/cultural/sexual/disability identity slots. Only one-star a book if you’ve read it and hated it. If you genuinely thought it was badly written and researched, THEN you get to complain.

Same. I just picked up the audiobook and will start it on my commute home. I have some guesses, but am prepared to be surprised.

Also, is it just me or are the comments getting weirder all the time? LOL.

Paige Turner I have THE JANES coming next week, so I am excited about that.

However, I wanted to say I cannot believe the amount of scammers trying to phish on Goodreads these days. 4 comments here out of 20!

I have flagged them all and I trust Goodreads moderators will remove, not only the comments, but their accounts as well. These despicable people are getting worse and worse these days and I for one am sick to death of them invading every damn site!
