New songs from your favorite artists come out all the time -- and we preview them down below!
On Tuesday, Kings of Leon premiered a new song — and “Going Nowhere” is very much an anthem for our time, the coronavirus pandemic keeping most of us sheltering-in-place in our homes or somewhere safe in hopes of curbing the spread of the illness.
A video for the song, a tender acoustic ballad performed by singer Caleb Followill, was shot in Nashville and features the musician in an empty room, singing to nobody and everybody at the same time.

Along with the song, Kings of Leon include the message:
“Stay safe. Stay home. We will see you as soon as we can. Visit Live Nation’s Global Relief Fund for live music crews to see how you can support touring and venue crews impacted by COVID-19: https://livenation.com/crewnation.
Lyrically, the song hits pretty close to home right now:
I’m going nowhere if you get the time
And it’s a long hard road until I can get to you
And I’ll be holding on, hoping the sun comes shining through
I’m going nowhere, if you got the time
I’m going nowhere, you’re on my mind
“Going Nowhere” is the first bit of new music from Kings of Leon since the band‘s 2016 album Walls.
