RC Boldt has delivered an action pack plot twist that has left me not only stunned, but giving her a round of applause because it was executed nicely. Truth In Pieces was a story that started off with an illusion that you will be in control of the outcome because your feelings will be under control but let me school you on something right now: It won’t be and these characters will turn you upside down for better or for worse.

What happens when your seemingly normal life gets an interruption from the biggest drug cartel leader in Miami? It goes up in flames. For professor Olivia Wright, life as she knows it, is now gone and in it’s place is a dangerous and rude awakening. Now in the cross hairs of a long standing feud that has put her on the radar, Olivia must now come to terms with an arrangement that has the power to either put her life in danger, or sacrifice the most important thing that she has never given up. Her heart. Can Olivia and Nico survive? Or will someone get burn?

I have to say that I went into this story thinking that I was going to be getting a straight forward forbidden romance with a little bit of danger but I ended up getting so much more. I really liked the main characters and enjoyed seeing them when they were on top but also vulnerable. Everything was not always perfect but it showed that they just like us in a way and they made mistakes and learned from them.

Now as for the plot twists that I didn’t really see coming. I thought that I knew what was going to happen and in a way I was right but for the rest? I had no idea the author was going to drop that kind of bomb on me!!

This is my second book that ive read from this author and she’s quickly climbing up on my favorite author list. Her writing is effortless, her storytelling sucks you in, and you’re constantly asking yourself this question: When can I read more???????

A very intriguing suspenseful mafia romance read!!
A feisty professor and an alpha drug dealer!

The characters were likeable, the plot had many twists and turns, the development and writing were very good, told in dual pov.

Nico and Olivia shared a great attraction and chemistry but their relationship didn’t arouse strong emotions.
The pace of the story had some ups and downs, there were a few hints predicting what would follow, and the ending... was never ending... it was too lengthy.

Regardless, it was an enjoyable and engaging read!

“Truth In Pieces” is a standalone by the best selling author R.C. Boldt. Told in dual Perspectives , this author has once again managed to render me speechless with her amazing Writing skills!

Olivia Wright is a professor. She is living a simple life that is until there is a break in in her house. Nico Alcanzar is a well Known Drug Dealer who is sitting at the top of drug business. He knows things about her life. Big secrets that she didn’t even know about. Soon she finds out that her whole life has been a lie and a few things about her parentage that put her and Nico in a game of hunting and chansing. Nico wants something from her and he is not letting her go until he gets that. Olivia has no choice but to comply with the dominating man towards whom she can’t help but feel a lot of attraction.

Nico Alcazar is a hard-working man. He has not reached where he is by playing for shits and giggles. If he has to use an innocent to eliminate one of his biggest rivals , then so be it. It should not be that tough. But things take a turn for the serious when he actually meets her. The spark of attraction is dangerous and so forbidden and it is definitely something that could ruin everything in between them! Not that he cares at this point. The pretty professor is his and there was nothing she could do about it. If only he would not hate him by the end of everything. There were things she didn’t know and He couldn’t tell her , but he hoped he could keep her. Olivia was not that innocent either. She had secrets of her own and when both of their pasts collided , there was nothing they could do but observe the chaos and destruction they had created.

This book had an amazing potline! The story started off as a dark romance and developed into something so much more! The twists of this story had me dropping my jaw and screaming so loud. The suspense element of this book is amazing and the only thing that i found lacking was the certain spark between the main characters. Something just seemed to be missing and I had a hard time finishing this book at the end. However the plot was good and I would definitely recommend this book to all the dark and thriller romance lovers out there!

I’ve been tossing around just how to approach this review because there is so much to be said, but to say almost anything will more than likely ruin the story for you, so we’re going to the quick and dirty route.

I loved Olivia and Nico. Both are strong, stubborn and passionate and while opposites in some ways, are quite similar in others and sparks flew whenever they were together. Their journey to their HEA is a rocky one, for a ton of reasons, and while I would have liked a little more push in some situations, I really liked them together and can honestly say that I loved how things worked out in the end.

I’ve read a few of the authors books ~ not all, but enough to have a good feel as to her writing ~ and I have to say that this one probably gave me the most whiplash. Things are trudging along and you think you have a good handle on what is going and what may happen and then she slips in a twist that has your head spinning while you scramble to re-evaluate everything you thought you knew. As for the secondary cast of characters…they definitely brought life to the story, but there were two in particular I am hoping will get their own HEA’s at some point in the future because they were all kinds of awesome!

Truth in Pieces is a book full of mystery, suspense and as the title itself says where the reader is discovering the truth in parts. A book full of complete, dubious characters and full of secrets.

The book took a while to get started for me, I found it a little slow at first, but I soon found myself intrigued by the story and wanting to play the detective and discover the secrets behind each one. One thing was certain in this book: That nothing was as it seemed and that it would be a book full of revelations and twists. I really liked the book and hope to read more of its stories going forward.

Truth in Pieces is a standalone romantic suspense.

Our heroine is Olivia is a University Professor who loves to use Pole dance for exercise and tension relief. She finds a need for stress relief when for reasons unbeknownst to her she is kidnapped by a local drug lord.

When Nico takes Oliva he turns her world upside down. So much that she thought she knew is turned upside down and so many pieces of the puzzle unknown. Oliva won't give up without questioning everything, and pushing boundaries, which inevitably heightens the tension between Nico and herself.

There is one thing that is undeniable and that is the instant attraction the pair feels for each other.

RC Boldt is such a talented and versatile author and whether she writes a romantic comedy, contemporary romance or romance suspense, she’s on point every single time! Truth In Pieces is a very exciting, engaging and suspenseful page turner that I couldn’t put down. I was so consumed, intrigued and invested with the storyline that I read it within a matter of hours.

Nico, one of the biggest drug lords in Miami and Olivia, a criminal psychology professor meet under unusual circumstances and are incredible together. Their journey is one heck of a ride and is filled with a lot of unexpected twists and turns. I couldn’t help but root for them especially towards the latter part of the book. And their bedroom antics are so naughty, sensual and tantalizing. Truth In Pieces is an excellent and well written book that I highly recommend reading.

LOVED IT. Did someone say anti-hero? Oh and romantic suspense? Yeah. I’m here for it!

Nico, the biggest drug dealer in Miami shows up at your house and says you need to come with him if you want to live. Do you go? 1. He’s hot. 2. He tells you things about your past you didn’t even know. 3. He tells you those things make you a target and your life is in danger, but he can protect you. Do you trust him?
Olivia decides it’s really her only option, and walks into the dark side with Nico. Both of them are hiding secrets and the only thing that is true is the electricity that shoots through them when they look at each other. You can feel the tension between them early on and it never lets up. Will the secrets between them prove to be too much? Can their connection break through the lies?
As they work together to ensure that Olivia isn’t in danger, it becomes clear that this is bigger than they both ever could have suspected. Olivia has to face some hard truths about her past, and as each new stone is overturned, a new secret emerges.
I enjoyed all of the twists and turns that this book brought. And NICO! Oh my goodness this man. I will call hard and quick for a devoted bad boy, and this one is at the top of my list, no one is more devoted than him. What a great romantic suspense that was heavy on the romance and feels!

I still have the biggest hangover from this book. A bookhangover, if you will, which is more painful than a liquor induced hangover. My goodness there is so much beauty and secrecy among these pages and NOTHING is what it seems. Just when I thought I had everything figured out, BAM, another twist came along that had my jaw dropping and heart pounding. I was so torn between reading this as fast as I could and savoring the absolute beauty this story encompasses.. I'm just in awe! I said it before when she released "Hell Hath No Fury," but THIS is the kind of books that this author was always meant to write!!

Olivia and Nico are so different from one another, but when certain circumstances thrust them together, you can't help but realize how alike they really are. Even though there is an underlining of distrust between the two of them, their love for one another is so freaking powerful. The way Nico helps his professor overcome her painful past is simply amazing, and definitely pushes him to the very top of the list of my all time favorite book boyfriends. He was so patient with her, yet knew exactly when she needed a push. And she was continuously surprising him as well! Their back and forth banter is something I LIVED for, and the fact that this witty psychologist could make the ultimate badass drug lord laugh always softened my heart. And the sexy times?! I almost needed to buy a new kindle. It was THAT HOT.🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

There's so much more I want to say, but this is a book you really have to go in blind for. And you really have to pay attention when you read, because like the title suggests, you get the truth in tiny pieces at a time, and you have to take all the clues around you and fit them into the big picture. I'm just obsessed with how everything turned out!!

And I'm going to need a book for Goliath, and a certain secret relative. *winks*

Do yourselves a favor and one click this book now!!!

EPIC STORY! I'm speechless honestly. This was the second book I read from this author and even though the trope is very different, R.C. Boldt handled the darker storyline very well. She seems like a very diverse author and I will definitely have a look at some of her other books as well.

Back to the story - I had a few heart attacks down the line, I swear. Truth in Pieces was not at all what I was expecting to be honest. Of course it dealt with the question love blossoming between the captor and its prey and it was interesting seeing the characters deal with their new feelings, but lot of it was also about sense of loyalty and duty. Nico and Olivia are certainly an interesting pairing. Both strong in their own way, I loved them from the start. Also, the secondary characters were totally amazing!

Great story honestly. Five stars

Truth in Pieces by RC Boldt is unputdownable! If you love books about secrets, SO MANY SECRETS, this is one for you. I loved the chemistry between Olivia and Nico—even though they both knew it was SO BAD for them. They’re complicated characters with troubled pasts who have found each other in a story filled with truths, lies, twists, and all the passion.

Boldt’s one of my go-to authors because I love funny reads and I love dark reads and she does both really well. This one tends toward dark although I think it’s more dark-ish. But oh-so-satisfying in the end.

Pick it up!

I always enjoy reading books written by this author because her writing always grips me . This book is a romantic suspense book that will have you on the edge of your seat and once you start this book you will not be able to put it down.

Nico is an all round bad guy that has been living a very dodgy life. He is a real alpha male and is very demanding in what he wants and he knows how to get it no matter the cost.
Olivia is a very beautiful professor and she thought she was just living her life the way that she wants, that is until something happens and puts her life on a totally different path. There is a lot of secrets that she doesn't even know were there and everything is about to be different.

These two characters have an epic amount of chemistry between them both and they are in each others heads. This is a very forbidden love that shouldn't be happening but the attraction is very powerful. I enjoyed reading this book and this title really suits this book.
This book has all the lies, twists and turns and all the secret and this is a real page turner and had me guessing all the way through and you wont be able yo put it down. I look forward to reading more form this author in the future.

THE REVIEW FOR THE BOOK: TRUTH IN PIECES BY R.C. BOLDT

GENRE:CONTEMPORARY ROMANTIC SUSPENSE.
AUTHOR:R.C. BOLDT.
TYPE: STANDALONE.
POV: DUAL PERSPECTIVE.
MY RATING: 5 "BLEW MY MIND AWAY" Stars...

Olivia Wright is a University Professor, a hot one at that, living a simple mundane life. But that changed one day when Nico Alcanazar, City's biggest drug lord, breaks into her house and kidnaps her for mysterious reasons. Her life as it was is over and now all the lies come knocking. Everything she has ever known in her life was a lie. Her parents, her name, her whole existence is based on lies. Nico apparently seems to know more about her than she does. And begins the chase for the truth...but no matter how much she tries to uncover it...more lies are just waiting around the corner.
Nico was a man who has sacrificed and worked hard to be on the top...if he has to use an innocent's life to eliminate the danger threatening his throne then fine...he never claims to be a good man.
But the attraction they feel towards each other triumphs all their other intentions. But still, the secrets put a wall between them and only time will tell who stands whose side in this game of life.

Holy shit!!! This book...damn. Although this was not my first read by the author still she never ceases to surprise me with her plot twists. Nico and Olivia were both such amazing characters...the development of the characters were fluently described.
Pages after pages, I was getting a hell of a shock repeatedly...and that ending triumphs all...
This was a dark romance taking place in the cruel unforgiving world.
I was so impressed by Olivia's character...she was so strong in the face of all the obstacles...the way she faced off Nico, a feared man, so effortlessly made me a fan of hers. Her calm attitude and fire within is the reason Nico was attracted to her.

The author has again given a perfect book boyfriend in the form of Nico Alkanazar. He was a hard, unforgiving man but a softy in the inside...deeeeepppp inside. And only Olivia can see that part of him. He was Alpha, dominating man who I like to believe is a nice guy underneath his hard facade.

The chemistry between them was of the chart hot and the action between the sheets was overloaded with sexiness and will burn down your Kindle for sure...
The climax was my favorite part of the book...you know with the unveiling of secrets and truth coming out...I was so pumped up with excitement that when the scene finally cam I couldn't put the book down for a sec...this was one of the best romantic suspense and thriller I have ever read if ever...
throughout the book my major expression was,

Wow, just wow!! This story is going in the running for my "Best Reads of 2020"!

This is a story that is going to grab you from the first chapter and leave you guessing until the very end!

This story of Olivia and Nico is full of heat, swoons and so much heart!

Olivia is discovering pieces of her life that she never knew and it is throwing her world into a spin.  I admired her strength of character.  When things looked bleak, she was able to see the light in the shadows.  She is able to reveal herself to Nico more than she ever has before.  Her instinct has driven her and will it provide itself to be true and honest to herself? That will be answered in this fantastic novel!

Nico is an enigma wrapped in a riddle.  He is bad boy personified.  Against his nature, he reveals his truth in pieces to Olivia.  Will it be enough to keep her in his dangerous world.

From the grungy underworld of drugs to the beautiful mansions of Miami's finest, Ms. Boldt creates a world that is going to hook you!  When the truths are revealed, it's going to leave you gasping for breath!

And the secondary characters?  Wowza, I am so hoping to hear more from them in the future!

Received an ARC for an honest review.

4.50 STARS!

About the book:
We have Olivia, a seemingly normal and ordinary professor, who one day finds in her house Nico Alcanzar, Miami’s biggest drug cartel leader. Nico tells her that he has information about her life, and that she's in danger so she has to go with him.
Both of them distrust the other, and yet they start to care for eachother. Will they fight their feelings in order to do what needs to be done or will they give in?

Opinions:
I loved this book, the story was very compelling and with enough interesting plot twists that makes you wanna keep reading to found out what happens next.
Olivia, my girl, was so strong and resilient, and tried to think the best of everyone, even after everything that had happened to her. She always fought for what's right, and never gaver up.
Nico, was also incredible. I liked how he always protected Olivia, and was very patient with her, especially when she needed most.
The only little problem I had with the book is that at times, especially towards the end, it felt dragged out wich made the book more longer than necessary. Other than that, the story and characters were amazing and well written.
I would totally reccomend this book!

Did I hear Romantic suspense add me right in then? Romantic suspense is my weakness in this genre.
And I liked it all the way.
The story starts off when Nico Alcanzar, the biggest drug cartel leader shows up at the doorstep of Professor Olivia Wright out of the blue and asks her to come with him. He says things about her past which even she wasn't aware of. She didn't have any choice other than to go with him to save her life.
As much as I despise admitting it to myself, and as dangerous as it is, the man intrigues me.

Olivia the feisty, fierce, stubborn, intelligent, determinant meets her match (Nica) .
While I liked their whole journey but there were some parts in the story I just wanted it to move a little faster. Of course, the dialogs kept the suspense intact. I see that the real plot twists of the story started from 70% of the book. I just hope that the plot twists might have been a little earlier so it could have been more fun and like more of romantic suspense.

Because I know without a shadow of a doubt, when this is all over, she won’t be thanking me for anything. Instead, she’ll be cursing the day I showed up in her damn house.

What I liked the most are the main characters of the story. Of course, it's more interesting when we have a strong female character in the story alongside the alpha hero.
I’ve felt broken before and I survived. I made it through by my iron will. And I know I’ll do it again. I just wish I didn’t have to.

I’m always eager to dive into a new R.C. Boldt book, and Truth in Pieces certainly delivered. It was another story that had me hooked from the first page, happy to devour the story in no time.

Truth in Pieces is a story with plenty packed into it, one that has you eager to see how the pieces come together. There are lots of little details that will have you theorising how things will play out, with each element sucking you in deeper. I confess to working out most of these details, but there were some nice elements that I failed to notice. Plus, working it out wasn’t enough to take away from the story – it still managed to grip and had me devouring the story at a rapid pace.

Without a doubt, Truth in Pieces is another winner from R.C. Boldt. It’s a story with more to it than first appears, one that grips hard.

TRIGGER:

Truth in Pieces was a hard one for me. I liked parts and hated others; which has placed me on the fence with this one.

New to me author, R.C. Boldt can write some hot as fuck sexy times but the in between times (connection, plot, intricate details, etc.) felt lacking, at least to me. I've been sick this week; I apologize if my review isn't the best. I'll try to break down what I liked and what I didn't.

Liked:
The cover.
The synopsis.
Nico.
The cryptic messages.
Trying to figure out who the protagonists and the antagonist were. I love a book that makes me think.
The professor.
Dual POV
The twist at the end; although, I had part of it figured out.
Secondary characters.
The chemistry and connection between Nico and The Professor, that came towards the last quarter of the book.
I love the way the author handled the trigger in this book:
The ending.

Disliked:
The kidnapping kind of went to the wayside when the intimacy started.
The lack of chemistry and connection between Nico and The Professor, until the final quarter of the book.
I wanted to see Nico at "work." I mean, he is Miami's most dangerous cartel leader. Yet, we didn't really get that. The balance between bad and good was way off. I wanted to see this bad ass, dominant man in action. I need that to counterbalance the sweet, vulnerable moments. I think it would have made a bigger punch to the gut if we got to see Nico in his element, especially since we already got his pov through the book. I NEEDED drug lord Nico to shine his darkness on me. How else can I appreciate his good deeds, his lighter, loving moments.
It was repetitive and filled with lots of details, just not the details I needed to move the story along.
Sometimes, I felt like Boldt forgot her own plot line and the sexy times took over as a filler.

A huge pet peeve for me is when something in a book reads closely to another book I've read. It takes me right out of my current story and throws me backwards into the other read. For instance, Nico likes to tell Olivia she has a needy pussy and liked to use that phrase often. Add that to the hero's incomplete sentence structure and I felt like I was reading a KA book all over again, just not written as well. All I could think about was Kane "Tack" Allen. Not good, in any shape or form. I don't want to be thinking about another man and his chick while I'm supposed to be drooling and falling in love with yours.

Anyway, I really loved each character individually. Just wish I could have loved them together. That was the missing element for me. While I got glimpses of their connection and chemistry it didn't last long, outside the bedroom at least. Inside was a whole different story. Some of those scenes were off the charts HOT.

I read somewhere this was the author's first darker piece she's written. Overall, it wasn't a bad read. Just not one of my faves. And maybe if I didn't just come off another book filled with twist and suspense that rocked my world, I probably would have liked it a tad bit better.

Would I read another? I think I would. I liked Truth in Pieces enough to not DNF it. That says a lot, since lately I barely get pass a few chapters.

BETA READ AND REVIEW

Truth In Pieces was an emotional rollercoaster. RC Boldt has created an intense story with loads of suspense that will keep you on your toes and nuclear hot chemistry that will make you squirm.

The characters are complex with layers after layers. The hero is alpha with capital A with ruthless and merciless dominance. He is not a nice guy. But I am so in love with this monster only to find his jaw dropping secrers. The heroine is sassy and fierce with her own darkness.Theit dynamics is even more complex. It was a minefield of lies, deceptions, power plays and mind games.

The author balanced angst and heartbreak with drama and tension beautifully. I was constantly gasping and cursing because I couldn't predict for once where the story will take me. An unputdownable read.

Well, RC Boldt....you're slowly becoming an author I'm excited to read. You kill me with the covers first (#coverwhore here) and then with the romantic suspense drama and angst next. This is only the second book I've read of yours and I haven't read your romcoms, but I'm a fan of your romantic suspense. You go to the darker side of life and include some damn steamy scenes between strong characters.

This book takes a seemingly normal University professor by the name of Olivia and throws her in with one of the area's biggest drug king pins, Nico Alcanazar. He wants her for ulterior motives. She's connected to his rival, but she has no clue. Or does she? What is she hiding and what is he hiding? Lies and secrets galore!

The beginning had me thinking it seemed like a few other stories I've read, but that did change. At one point I thought Olivia was one sort of character, but one scene changed it all. She's fierce and feisty, but has a softness about her. And Nico? He's Alpha, in charge of him and his med, but there was also this soft, understanding man underneath everything. I wanted to believe he was one of the 'good bad guys'. You know the type...The kind of guy who does bad things, but really has a heart of gold? I could only hope. And their bedroom antics?! Ummmm... yes please! Bring a fan to cool yourself off because there are quite a few of these scenes. They may hold back in other areas of their everyday lives, but not once they let loose in the bedroom. The chemistry is definitely there.

The lies and secrets and twists build up until you get to the ending. I loved the action and the way it played out. I like seeing the blood and deaths when it comes to romantic suspense. Call me a glutton for punishment, but it always pushes the story forward for me. And in this case, it really let the ending unfold in a way that gave you some answers. After the huge climax and unveiling of some secrets, the ending skipped in time a bit which was ok, because you don't need all those details, but seemed a little choppy. Then there was the texting. I'm still not sure how I felt about the texts, but they all added to how we see two characters and who they became in the end.

In a land full of drugs, violence and lies, who can you trust?

I love a good romance! Throw in a little angst, suspense, and even mystery, and that is a recipe for a great story. Truth in Pieces is all of that, and more! RC Boldt dishes out the truth piece by piece, spoonful by spoonful. Little phrases that the characters say catch your attention, have you saying, “What! Does that mean what I think it means?” The characters have so many layers that the author peels back and reveals bit by bit. The story is so gripping and captivating I did not want to put it down.

As stories go, it is a little longer than most, but not once did I feel it was too long. The author moves the story along at a perfect pace, seducing you into her web of lies, secrets, and truths. She manages to have the reader fall in love with criminals and keeps you guessing what will happen next. The anticipation keeps you reading page after page as your heart beats faster with every word!

Author RC Boldt builds a relationship of trust between Nico and Olivia. Nico can’t hide behind his façade forever; Olivia’s education and training can sense something good in those golden-brown eyes -- something tells her she is safe and protected in his arms. Nico is a surprisingly tender sexual partner and his dirty talking mouth will shock an orgasm out of any hot-blooded woman. Don't worry -- he has many sides to his sexual prowess and he shows them all. Caring and tender one moment; intense and animalistic the next. Exactly what every woman needs in her life.

Truth in Pieces may actually tear you in pieces. You may find your heart torn as you hope and pray for some way that this story can have a happy ending. Hold on to your seat – it’s a bumpy ride with many twists that could induce whiplash – but it is a ride well worth taking to meet a patient and sometimes kind criminal who has a caring side, if only he can figure out how to break free.

HOLY HECK! What a freaking phenomenal read. You wanna talk about a game changer? Truth In Pieces is THAT game changer. This author aptly choose the perfect title for the perfect book because you literally learn the truth in pieces.I am however going to keep things to a minimum in this review because one word could spoil the whole daggone plotline, and that is highly frowned upon.

To start out, I have to mention how insanely talented this author is. Boldt's writing in Truth In Pieces kept me completely spellbound from the intensity of the plotline to the overall suspense that this story had. Take into account that the originality, the development and the depth is all this author. She balanced the unbalancable. She let this story flow at a pace that kept everything afloat without things recessing into the back of your mind. She built these complex characters that lost layer after layer until they were stripped raw. There was attention to detail in places you would never think to put it. For Truth In Pieces to be such a suspenseful read, there was wittiness added to the already epic dialogue. Now onto my favoritest part, the Romance. This author just wrote the most sexiest - sensual Romance of All Romances, and I say that with a smile on my face. Shoo weee, a fan was needed because some of those scenes were the best I have seen done.

I know I said I was gonna keep this review minimal, and that is what I am gonna do. Just know that Truth In Pieces is one of my top 5 books of 2020. I definitely recommend this book.

Secrets, wrapped in lies and mixed with tons of chemistry! Truth in Pieces is a story full of intrigue and suspense right up until the very end.

Nico Alcanzar and Olivia Wright play a dangerous game with their secrets and lies. Nico is a known kingpin of a drug cartel and basically kidnaps Olivia, for her own safety, but for his own nefarious purposes as their story comes out in bits and pieces.

Olivia is a professor of psychology, what could she possibly be in danger of when Nico kidnaps her from her boring life? Finding out her biological mother is known as the Mother of Death and runs a rival the cartel knowing Nico will use her begins to make more sense.

Neither are willing to give up too much of themselves as the game between them goes on, but during quiet moments they show those inner layers beyond their high walls and perhaps truths behind the lies. Could Nico and Olivia be more than what they perceive to the world? These small truths almost hurt more than the lies they carry, for as much as they peel back the layers, having more is never a reality, the lies are too great and they will never be able to live beyond the danger.

Olivia finds herself falling for a known criminal, even with all of her knowledge in psychology, there is something about Nico that draws her in, when she should stay far away, but tell that to her heart which will break once he uses her like a disposable bargaining chip.

Who can you trust and who is telling the truth? In this battle of lies, this story will keep you guessing.

4.5 stars!

Truth in Pieces is an incredible follow up novel to Hell Hath No Fury. That book blew me away. I am still not over it. Truth in Pieces was equally as good. It has all the same elements, dark, gritty, suspense and an intense and passionate love story.

Nico Alcanzar is the leader of the biggest's drug cartel in Miami. He is a protector, but he is also ruthless and deadly.

Olivia Wright is a professor. She leads a quiet life until one day when Nico shows up in her house uninvited. Olivia doesn’t know what to think at first but as he reveals truths about her that even she didn’t know she can’t help but trust the man and follow his word.

Olivia has a painful past. I really loved Nico’s protective nature over her. He knew exactly the right moments to give her a push or nudge in the right direction and the chemistry between was evident from the beginning. Such addictive and intense sexual chemistry too! I loved it.

This is one truly EPIC story. I was blown away by the secrets and lies and all the build up and trying to figure it all out. The twists and turns were endless and just when I thought I had figured things out BAM the author threw a curveball at me! I could not put this down from beginning to end until all was revealed. This book is romance suspense GOLD and I highly recommend it.
