How to Add a Prompt

Initial Sign-up

o n e. You must have an AO3 account to add a prompt to the Prompt Collection. If you do not, please reach out to a mod and they can either get you an account or add your prompt for you.

t w o. Click either the Sign-Up button on the right or the “Prompt Form” button on the left.

t h r e e. Complete your prompt info! Unlike an exchange you should only put ONE prompt per request. The below offers some more instructions on how to add your prompt, in case you need help.

Title

(optional) Allows you to title your prompt.

Fandom

(required) Enter at least Dragon Age - All Media Types. Additional DA fandoms (for specific games) or crossover fandoms can be added. Up to 20 can be added to a single request.

Characters

(optional) Use this to request individual characters for solo or ensemble pieces. This should be used if you want something like character introspection or something with a non-relationship (including friendship) focus! You can add up to 20 characters in a single prompt.

Relationships

(optional) You can add up to 20 ships per prompt. Friendship/Enemy pieces should use “&” tags and romantic or sexual relationships should use “/” tags. For example, “Leliana & Morrigan” would be appropriate both for a fic where they go shopping for shoes in Orlais AND for one where they hate each other and spend the entire fic making one another miserable. “Leliana/Morrigan” would be appropriate for a fic where they go shopping for dresses in Orlais and end up banging in a dressing room.

NOTE: please be aware that unlike an exchange request, your prompt meme request should only include the EXACT ships you want to appear in this prompt.

Additional Tags

(optional) You can add anything here, but if you’d prefer fanart or fanfic list that first. All other tags (specific prompts, kinks, etc) should be added after fanart/fanfic.

Ratings

(optional) Allows you to designate if there are ratings you DO NOT want to see. Keep in mind that Mature and Explicit are not exclusively smut. If you’re okay with these ratings for gore/violence but NOT smut you can specify that in your “Prompts & DNWs” box.

Relevant Link

(optional) Do you have a tumblr tag with your OCs or a page that has images of them all? Do you have a Google doc with more in depth info about your wants and dislikes? Do you have general exchange info that you want someone to be aware of for your prompts? Do you have your tumblr asks on? Feel free to link those here.

Prompts & DNW

(required) The bread and butter of your prompt. This is where you share your prompt to inspire your fellow server members. You should also list any do not wants - your squicks and triggers and things that make you absolutely NOPE out of a fic. These can even just be personal preferences. If you list NOTHING for DNW you are giving your prompt fillers the freedom to write/draw anything that would fulfill your prompt!

Unacceptable Prompt Some fluff would be good.

Acceptable Prompt (General) I’m really in the mood for some fluff with these guys; something like a meet cute or even a friends-to-lovers. My favorite tropes for them include Cullen being an incapable of flirting idiot, Cullen experiencing bisexual panic for the first time, drunken confessions of feelings (but not drunken sex!) and Dorian flirting ruthlessly while Solas is an idiot who doesn’t pick up on it.

Acceptable Prompt (Specific) Please write a fic where Leliana takes Morrigan dress shopping in Orlais and they bang in a dressing room. Art of them banging in a dressing room is also acceptable as long as there’s hair pulling.

DNW Example DNW: non-con (consensual non-consent okay), dub-con with alcohol/drug use (i.e. they get drunk and have sex without consent being established ahead of time. dub-con due to secrets/hidden identities is fine.), adult/minor, bodily waste products (blood play is fine), incest, humiliation, ABO, tentacles, monsters, abuse. Not a fan of second-person fics or modern AUs. Please avoid!

Semi-anonymous Prompt? Checkbox

(optional) Click this if you do not want your name associated with the prompt. This means that if the prompt is filled you will not receive notification of the Gift and it will not be associated with you. Mods will use this feature to list prompts for members who do not have AO3 accounts.

f o u r. Click add another request to add more than one prompt at a time or Submit to submit your sign-up! You can always edit your sign up to add more prompts later.

Editing Your Sign-up (Adding More Prompts)

o n e. Go to the Prompt Collection and click the “Edit Sign-Up” button. For some reason, going to “My Prompts” and then “Add Prompt” is giving an error message when you try to submit.

t w o. Scroll to the bottom of your current prompts and click the “Add another request?” button.

t h r e e. Follow steps three and four above in the Initial Sign-up Section.

Deleting A Prompt

o n e. To delete a single prompt, first go to the Prompt Collection; then, click the “My Prompts” button on the left.

t w o. Scroll to the prompt you wish to delete and click the “Delete Prompt” button.

t h r e e. A pop-up will ask you to confirm deletion. Click “Ok”.

Deleting Your Entire Sign-Up

o n e. To delete a single prompt, first go to the Prompt Collection; then, click “Cancel Sign-Up”.

t w o. A pop-up will ask you to confirm deletion. Click “Ok”.
