Global volunteering for corporate professionals in digital times
The Yunus & Youth Social Impact Leadership Program (SILP) is an online skills-based volunteering program that enables business professionals (Mentors) to apply their knowledge and expertise to empower young social entrepreneurs (Y&Y Fellows) anywhere in the world while simultaneously enhancing their skills.
With the strategic support of Citigroup’s Human Resources department, we selected 62 corporate Mentors from 18 different countries. They followed the 2021-2022 Y&Y Fellows closely, providing support through the Program platform, and sharing tools, knowledge, and advice about overcoming business challenges locally and globally.

Yunus & Youth (Y&Y) combines social entrepreneurship training with technology to remove educational barriers between countries and generations. It connects social entrepreneurs, changemakers, and activists who want to build a better world with the support, opportunities, and guidance they need to succeed. As a result, Y&Y empowers youth to build successful and financially sustainable solutions to address the world’s most pressing needs. Since 2014, Y&Y has worked with over 8,500 young people who are now part of an international mission-driven community.
