Players who own New World (base game) and the Rise of the Angry Earth expansion will receive a free update on Oct. 15 when New World: Aeternum launches. This free update will bring these players up to date with all of the new content in New World: Aeternum.
Players that own New World (base game) but do not own the Rise of the Angry Earth expansion will need to purchase the Rise of the Angry Earth expansion to get access to all of the content in New World: Aeternum.
You can pre-order New World: Aeternum on the Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 digital stores. It will be available for direct purchase on Oct. 15 for Xbox, PlayStation, and Steam (PC).
Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 players can get the Azoth Stalker Wolf Mount by pre-ordering New World: Aeternum (either Standard Edition or Deluxe Edition).
To get the Azoth Stalker Wolf Mount on Steam (PC), players must:

Log in to a server with one of their characters prior to Oct. 14 at 11:59 p.m. PDT
Yes. New World: Aeternum allows players from Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Steam (PC) to all play together on the same server.
No. In New World: Aeternum your character(s) are locked to the platform you create them on. For example, if you create a character on PlayStation 5, you will not be able to access/play that character on Xbox Series X|S or Steam (PC).
