Embedded insurance startup Mulberri, Inc. has formed a partnership with global cybersecurity firm Acronis to provide cyber insurance to small and medium-sized businesses across the United States. The collaboration enables Acronis customers to seamlessly opt for Mulberri’s embedded cyber insurance directly through the Acronis platform. Omaha National, a leading provider of workers’ compensation insurance, has successfully acquired Sutter Insurance Company. Based in California, Sutter Insurance Company has been rebranded as Omaha National Casualty Company following the acquisition. Aspen Insurance Group and PIMCO Investment Management have joined forces to create Pando Re, a (re)insurer based in Bermuda. Under a long-term agreement, Aspen will serve as the exclusive cedant to Pando Re, while Pimco will undertake the role of investment manager.
