Black Lives Matters-OKC is hosting a protest in response to the murder of George Floyd on Sunday near Northeast 36th and Kelley Avenue.

Protesters are gathering and chanting "Black Lives Matter" and "no peace."

The demonstration is seeking justice for Floyd, a black man who died while a white police officer held a knee against his neck in Minnesota.

At a similar protest on Saturday, hundreds showed up to protest the murder of Floyd.

Saturday's protest started near Northwest 23rd and Classen and resulted in over 20 people being arrested.

The crowd made it's way to the Oklahoma City police headquarters and officers used tear gas to try and get the crowds to disperse.

Armored cars have been placed in front of the Oklahoma County Jail and police headquarters for Sunday's protest.

This is a developing story.
