He’s a movie star.
I’m just a girl from a small town.

He lives in L.A when he’s not traveling the world. I live in Utah, and the furthest I’ve been is a few states away.

He’s beautiful. I’m . . . just me.

Talbot Green is the man who has everything—fame, money, adoring fans—and I’m just a girl from a small town, childhood friends with his publicist, and looking forward to spending a few days in warm and sunny California.

Then I saved his life.

In front of the paparazzi.

And suddenly, my face is everywhere—on social media, on TV, on magazine covers. Suddenly, I’m not just a girl from a small town, who’s living a small life. Suddenly . . . I belong to Talbot Green, at least in the eyes of the media.

And also . . . perhaps in the eyes of Talbot himself.

But maybe, just maybe, he belonged to me right back.

Meet Cute is book 5 in the Love, Camera, Action series by author Elise Faber. This is
Talbot and Tammy’s story. It's a fabulously lighthearted, fun read with fantastic characters and sizzling chemistry between Talbot and Tammy. Loved how opposites attract with Talbot being an A list Hollywood star and Tammy being a small town cop. How they met and became a couple was great. There wasn't a boring moment, its a fast-paced , engaging romance that keeps the readers on their toes.

Tammy and Talbot's meet cute is right out of Talbot's Hollywood world. She's divesting herself of her stockings and uncomfortable heels, unaware he's peeking, and he's peeking while enjoying himself thoroughly. He's even more smitten when he gets to speak to her and finds she's sassy and straightforward in speaking, and not at all like the plastic women who throw themselves at him in his glamorous world of Hollywood. But it's when she literally saves him that his fall is cemented. Can a small town cop and an A list Hollywood star make a relationship work? Or are they doomed to this just being a short, but memorable blip in time as they each go back to their separate lives in separate worlds and separate states?

When Tammy ends up hurt while saving Talbot, his own protective skills pop up. Now the two are snuggled up together in close confines, living in a bubble of attraction and affection. She knows, though, that a small town cop and a sought after actor don't really belong together. Not only that, but the very reason why they're in seclusion together is just yet another force telling her they can't be a thing. Are all those voices whispering in her head wrong? Can Tablot really belong to her as he says?

Meet Cute is sweet and sexy and Talmy are just about the cutest couple in this excellent series. I love that Talbot's all in from the first minute he laid eyes on Tammy, and how she was swept along with him, but still kept her head, being the strong woman she is. I've been loving this series, and can't wait for more.

This book was absolutely intriguing and kind of adorable from start to finish. Actor Talbot Green meets police officer Tammy Conners at an engagement party, but things quickly take a turn. Now Tammy and Talbot are holed up together waiting for the press to move on. I don’t think either of them were expecting the instant attraction or the rush of feelings. What happens when they go back to their real lives?

This was only my second story by Elsie Faber, but I loved this storyline so much. It was perfect and not too predictable and the characters were very relatable and down to earth. A+.

You know it is love when Tammy pulls a gun on Talbot when they first meet. Some Meet cutes are not like the other :) Talbot and Tammy are forced to be together due to the paparazzo on his doorstep. I loved how the were just ordinary people when alone playing board games and cooking. Love can happen quickly or fast in life, For Tammy and Talbot it fast and easy.

Tammy is just a small town cop minding her own business that is until her entire life gets turned upside down in the best way possible when she meets big time movie star Talbot Green. What was supposed to be a quick holiday visiting her friend in California soon turns into Tammy saving Talbot's life when a crazy stranger tries to stab him. However when the paps get wind of this things begin to get interesting and Tammy is pushed into the world of glits and glam with Talbot right beside her.

••

Talbot has everything that he could have ever wanted the only thing that he is missing is the one thing he never even knew that he needed; Tammy. But things go up a notch when Tammy gets hurt and it's up to Talbot to be the one to protect her this time, as the two spend more and more time together their bond gets stronger, but the question is will Tammy be able to live in Talbot's world?

••

Oh gosh Elise Faber is just knocking out some goodies! I instantly loved Tammy, she was super sweet and loveable. And I absolutely loved that she was a cop, it was nice to get a strong kick butt female lead. She really was a realistic and relatable character. As for our movie star hero Talbot, I loved getting to see him fall in love and go all protector on Tammy.

••

Overall Meet Cute was definitely a sweet little read, I have been loving the Love, Camera, Action series so far and can not wait for the upcoming books. This sweet Hollywood romance is a must read!

Elise Faber is a fairly new author to me and with each book I pick up I’m left wondering why I haven’t read more if her books.
Tyler Green is a hotshot actor who has the world at his feet, he has it all, looks, fame, fans, money and women throwing themselves at him but deep down he is lonely. What he needs is a good old fashioned down to earth woman in his life and when a chance meeting with his publicists friend Tammy Connors happens he convinces her to drive him home.
Tammy is a police officer and when she arrives at Tyler’s home she saves him from being stabbed by a stranger and it isn’t long before the paparazzi find the woman who saved Tyler’s life.
This is where the real fun and games begin, Tammy gets hurt, Tyler steps up in full alpha protection mode and this couple find themselves alone and in hiding until everything blows over.
Spending time alone, getting to know each other always meant feelings would come into play but will this couple let their guard down and trust the feelings they are both having or will society and the paparazzi tear them apart.
This is a captivating story with adorable characters, it’s sweet, it’s entertaining and it’s a great addition to the Love, Camera, Action Series.

Talbot is thrilled for his best friend Maggie's engagement to her first love, after years apart, while they both focused on building their careers, so of course he would throw her an engagement party. But instead of enjoying the festivities, he's hiding out in the garden, filled with sadness that he is still missing out on finding that kind of love.

When Tammy, Maggie's long time friend from home, heads to the garden to get a reprieve from the painful shoes she's wearing for the event, she certainly doesn't realize she's giving one of America's favorite actors quite a show.

Hours later, when Talbot begs a ride home, the last thing either of them expect is someone laying in wait outside the gates of his house with the intent of killing him. Luckily, Tammy's years on the police force in her small hometown in Utah kicks in, and she manages to save Talbot AND take down the bad guy. All in front of the paparazzi.

As the two hide out in Talbots home, waiting for the media storm to settle, the two grow closer every day. And while their waking hours are spent on strategy, they also spend time getting to know each other, and falling a little more each day.

I loved this small town girl who waltzed in and stole the heart of Hollywood's leading man.

Meet Cute is the 5th book in the Love, Camera, Action series but was fine to read as a stand-alone. It was fast-past, interesting, easy to read, and had a developed storyline. I loved that the author used the heroine as the protective figure and the hero as the “damsel in distress”. Tammy was a police officer and her instincts saved Talbot’s life. Too bad the paparazzi filmed the entire scene and now Tammy’s quiet life in small-town Utah can never return to the same. Talbot was instantly attracted to Tammy but knew they led such separate lives so pursuing her was useless, especially since she was friends with his publicist, Maggie. But when she saves his life, he can help but become protective and pursue her. They were a perfect couple because they both grew up isolated from family and could understand each other’s needs and emotions. I loved that Talbot was supportive of Tammy and did not have his manly feelings hurt when she took the protective role in their relationship. This was such an exciting and intriguing book and I look forward to future books in the series.

This is book 5 in the author's series, Love, Camera, Action. It easily stands alone.I have read a few books in that series but not all of them.

Meet Cute, I found was a sweet, sexy and fun romance that takes place in Hollywood with Talbot Greene as the leading man in this story and in Hollywood movie. He meets a woman at his friend and publicists engagement party, Tammy, who grew up with the bride to be and is a police officer. He hitches a ride with her from the wedding and thats when she saves his life and gets injured.

They end up spending time with each other as he takes care of her and they fall hard for each other while the police try and capture the bad guy. Tal was a really special guy and Tammy really needed someone who is there for her and I loved watching these two as they fell for each other.

If you are looking for a light read, that's fast paced and very romantic with a great cast of characters then you will adore this story.

I received a free ARC copy of this book from the author prior to release and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This book was an absolute meet cute. Talbot is a movie star living in LA and Tammy is a cop from Utah on vacation. The two have a mutual friend and Tyler is smitten with her from the moment they meet. In a twist, Tammy ends up saving his life from an attacker. Tammy stays with Talbot while the paparazzi is camped out in front of his house after the incident. The two have a connection they can’t deny.

I absolutely adored these two. Talbot is super sweet and loveable. You can tell he deeply cares for his Tammy. And Tammy is a total girl crush. A badass cop who didn’t hesitate to stop a criminal. And she’s also a caring person who is meant to be a protector.

This is the 5th book in the Love, Camera, Action series. It can be read as a stand-alone but I recommend going back to meet the other characters. Maggie, who is Tammy’s best friend and Talbot’s publicist, has her own book, End Scene.

This story was fun, sweet and absolutely steamy.

Tyler Green is an actor who appears to have everything. He travels the world, has a house in LA, fame, money and lots of fans and several close friends but is lonely.
Tammy Conners is a police officer from a small town in Utah and is childhood friends with Tyler's publicist. So when Tyler meets Tammy at his publicist engagement party he is smitten. He gets Tammy to drive him home saying he's been drinking too much and shouldn't drive. As they get to his house she saves him from being stabbed by some stranger and of course the paparazzi is there in full form and catches it all. Tammy gets hurt and Tyler goes into full protector mode. So now they are in hiding till it blows over. There are some twists and surprises.
Will they let their guards down and let each other in?
This is a sweet love story that had me hooked from the beginning.

This is the 5th book in this amazing series and is Talbot and Tammy’s story. Talbot is a movie star who has it all, the looks, money, fame, and women throwing themselves at him, but underneath he is lonely. Tammy is from a small-town and is a police officer. These two meets at Tammy’s best friends and Talbot’s publicists’ engagement party. When Talbot convinces Tammy to drive him home, she ends up saving him from a crazed fan and is hurt in the process in front of the paparazzi, which has their pictures plastered everywhere, and Talbot is in full protective mode and they go into hiding together. This is a well written story which if fun, sweet, and with twists, emotions, love, and engaging and realistic characters. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend for all.

Talbot is an actor whose professional success has exceeded his expectations, but he regrets that he has no one to share his life with. While attending his friend’s engagement party he is enchanted by a beautiful woman and he never expected that brutal attack could be the best thing to ever happen to him when she comes to his rescue.

Tammy is a police officer who has come to town for her friend’s engagement party but she never expected to have to put her professional skills to use before the end of the evening. Needing to escape her sudden popularity she finds herself staying with Talbot but with their contrasting lives will this be their beginning or their end?

Although Talbot and Tammy wouldn’t have met under normal circumstances there is no denying that they are perfect for each other.

I loved Tammy!

Actor Talbot Green is lonely when he meets police officer Tammy Conners at the engagement party for his publicist. Talbot is fascinated by Tammy, so he asked her to give him a ride home where everything goes off the tracks when she saves him from being stabbed by a drug addled stranger in front of what she thought was all the paparazzi in Los Angeles.

Meet Cute is a seriously fun romance with the traditional characters being the opposite of the normal with the hero being saved by the heroine in front of the world after all the pictures and video made the news worldwide. But now Talbot needs to figure how to keep Tammy in his life!

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This is the first book in Elise Faber’s Love, Camera, Action series I have read and count me intrigued. I have already backtracked and downloaded the first and second books! But I digress. The initial meeting of Talbot Green and Tammy Connors was different. Talbot is an A list movie star attending the engagement party of one of his best friends in LA. Tammy Connors is a detective with the Darlington, Utah sheriff’s department who happens to be attending the same party for the same person who happens to be her best friend also! An unexpected meeting in the garden where Talbot is sort of hiding from the crowd and Tammy is busy removing her stockings is totally unlike any other meeting before. Tal startled her, and she pulled her gun on him! Wow!
A series of constantly escalating events throws them together for an extended period of time! Should they fight their mutual attraction, or is it meant to be?

Meet Cute is a great addition to the Love, Camera, Action series! Talbots and Tammy were great characters with amazing chemistry! Talbots is an A-list actor who has it all, money, fame and women throwing themselves at him, but he’s lonely. Tammy is a small town cop in town for her friends engagement party, where the meet. Offering to drive him home led to Tammy getting hurt during an attack on Talbot. He goes into protection mode to take care of Tammy. Forced to stay together because the paparazzi is camped out in front of his house. After spending so much time together, they fall for each other. Will their relationship survive when they go back to their real lives? Meet Cute is a captivating story with amazing characters and a wonderful storyline. It will keep you reading until the end!

This is the first book I have ever read by Ms Faber and I just would like to know where I have been? This was a fun read and Meet Cute was the perfect title for this story.

Talbot is an A list actor that is throwing a party for his best friend and her fiancé he least expected to have a run in with a beautiful woman in the wrong fashion. What began as a crazy way to meet also began a crazy weekend in hiding.

I absolutely loved Talbot and Tammy. These two were fun to read and this was such a cute story. Loved it from the beginning to the end. If I had one complaint it would be that it was such a fast-paced book, but I wasn’t bored and honestly, I needed something different!! I highly recommend this one!!

This book definitely fits the title. This is a wonderful meet cute between a famous actor and a small town cop. It's short, sweet, and lighthearted. There is a little drama but nothing overly crazy. This is just a simple story about two lost souls finding each other and falling in love. I loved that it wasn't overly crazy or trashy. I love getting to know Tammy and Talbot and watching them fall on love. This is the last book in the series and it can easily be read as a standalone. I didn’t read the first 3 books and really don't feel like I missed anything.

OK I've read a few Elise Faber books now and I have loved everyone of them but this one didn't quite hit the same for me. I think the fast paced tempo of the story threw me off and the fact I never got the answer as to what was the reason for what happened the first night they spent together.

Don't get me wrong I still liked it. I loved the push and pull between them and I did feel the chemistry. But the first part of the review is why I'm giving it a 3.5* rating. I'm sure the next book in this series will be another hit for me.

This was the first book I’ve read in this series, and I loved it! I will definitely be going back and reading each of the previous books because I love the characters and how they interact.

I’m a Elise Faber fan and really enjoy her writing style - interesting and human characters who act like adults, emotions without over the top angst, and storylines that have great pacing without feeling like you’ve been told the story instead of being able to experience and enjoy it.

This is a fun, sweet, and sexy story that takes off from the moment Talon and Tammy meet at gun point at a mutual friend’s engagement party. I loved how these characters interacted with each other - snarky and vulnerable, sweet and steamy and protective and protected.

I really enjoyed this sweet story about Talbot, a big time hotshot movie actor, and Tammy, a small town cop who saves his life. After that Talbot becomes a protective alpha over the woman who saved his life. Will small their relationship be able to handle being in the public eye and the barrage of the paparazzi? This story captivated me from the beginning and I did not want to put it down until the very last word. This book was well written and I really enjoyed the characters. It had a great story line and I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who likes really entertaining romance stories. I was sucked right into this story and didn't stop until I was done. Somehow I missed the first four books of the series, but I didn't feel like I was missing anything. I enjoyed Meet Cute so I'll definitely be starting from the beginning. Talbot and Tammy's first meeting was interesting to say the least, and just a hours later things get crazy. They end up stuck together after Tammy is injured saving Talbot from an attack. As things outside get crazier, their relationship heats up inside. I loved the characters, Tammy and Talbot were a good match. The story went from humor to drama to romance, and then did it all over again. This one I'd absolutely recommend!

This is a great story of Talbot (famous actor) and Tammy (small town police officer). From the beginning Tammy is a strong woman who has no trouble speaking her mind or confronting things head on. I loved that she stayed that way throughout the book and never let Talbot hide away from her. Talbot should have it all, being a famous and actor and all, but he is lonely and when he meets Tammy he knows something is between them. Their path to a HEA is not so smooth but I guarantee you will enjoy the ride! I really enjoyed this read!

Tammy meets Talbot at an engagement party for her best friend. To say it was a traditional meeting would be a stretch. Talbot gets and incredible kick out of their first introduction and is immediately enamored with Tammy. Tammy is beautiful, smart and sassy and could care less about his fame. Talbot asks her for a ride after the party and everything for both of them changes. Love this couple how hut and vulnerable they both are. How strong Tammy really can be. A funny, sweet, love story! This series rocks

Ah, the feels!!! This is one of those books that really is all about the feels. Talbot and Tammy make a epically swoon worthy couple. In spite of all Talbot's fame and fortune, he was easy to like and feel for. Tammy I felt was realistic and also super likable. I loved everything about this book. From the couple you couldn't help but fall for and fiercely root on, to the fun story that put a smile on my face and had my heart feeling so incredibly full, this book gives us the type of love story that all us romantics just love to fantasize about. Such a good story.. A little different

Talbot is a movie star and Maggie's his publicist. While at Maggie's engagment party he meets Tammy, Maggie's bff from back home, in the cutest and funniest way. One fun night that turns into a nightmare and Tammy having to use her experience as a police officer has these two holed up together and getting to know each other. When Talbot's past comes back to haunt him will Tammy be there or will she walk away too?

Not usually a fan of insta love stories but this one flowed so well you forget it happens so fast.

Talbot is an actor, he's single as he never knows if women are interested in him for his money or the help his presence would be to their careers.
Tammy is a police officer, who attends the engagement party of her friend, Maggie, and meets the host, Talbot.
Tammy is giving Talbot a lift home as his car is blocked in and he's over the limit. There's loads of paparazzi outside his house. They get out of the car to put the code into the gate and Talbot is attacked by a man with a knife.
There follows a great romantic suspense story from Elise.

Meet Cute is absolutely adorable! I loved Tammy and Talbot’s story, from start to finish. Both of them lead very different lives, but they are so similar in so many ways due to their childhoods. They each have been searching for something, but didn’t know what they was, until the night that she saved him from an intruder.

This forced proximity/instalove story takes place in a bubble, but Tammy and Talbot are perfectly matched for one another, and put in the effort to make their real life matter.

Meet Cute, book five in the Love, Camera, Action series follows small town police woman Tammy Conners and actor Talbot Green. When Tammy is thrust into the attention of the paparazzi after saving Talbot’s life, she finds herself in a world she’s never imagined, living in hiding with Talbot. As they spend time together, and get to know one another, feelings begin to develop but will their new feelings for each other be enough to keep them together? Or will society’s views, and the ever present paparazzi, keep them apart?
