Dark Chocolate Pretzel Cake

Pretzels simply covered in chocolate have nothing on this ridiculously yummy, pretzel-topped dark chocolate treat.

Ingredients

  • 115 grams unsalted butter, chopped
  • 450 grams dark chocolate, chopped
  • 4 eggs, separated
  • 55 grams caster (superfine) sugar
  • 12 grams sea salt flakes
  • 50 grams mini pretzels

Steps

  1. Preheat oven to 160°C. Lightly grease and line a 20-centimeters round springform cake tin with non-stick baking paper.
  2. Place the butter and chocolate in a large bowl over a saucepan of simmering water and stir until melted and smooth. Remove the bowl from the heat and set aside.
