Waiver

I declare, confirm and agree as follows and I/My ward... 

1) I have fully read and understand the risk and responsibility of participating in the Let's Get Fit for Elections 2022 walkathon. Any event outlined in this application/registration form (collectively “the event” ) and will be participating entirely at my/she/his/her risk and responsibility;


2) I confirm that I understand the risk of participating on a course with vehicular traffic, even if the course may be regulated and monitored by security staff;

3) I confirm that I understand that I/my ward must be of an appropriate level of fitness to participate in this fitness event and that I/my ward have no medical issues that would prevent me from participating in this event;

4) I confirm my agreement for I/my ward and our legal representatives to waive any and all claims of any nature against the organizers and sponsors of the/any event, as well as against all government entities, authorities and officials, all contractors and construction sites working on or near the course, all Let's Get Fit for Elections 2022 organizing committee persons, officials and volunteers and all other persons and entities associated with the event and the directors, employees, agents, and representative of all or any of the aforementioned including, but not limited to, any claims that might result from me/my ward participating in the event and whether on account of illness, injury, death or otherwise;

5) I agree that if I/my ward is injured, becomes ill or suffers any negative effects associated with participation in the event, I hereby irrevocably authorize the event officials and organizers to, at my/our risk and cost, transport me/my ward to a medical facility and/or to administer emergency medical treatment and I/my ward waive/s all claims that might result from such transport and/or treatment or delay or deficiency there in. I shall pay directly for any medical or emergency care expenses associated with injury or illness associated with the event for myself/my ward and confirm understanding that race officials, the organizers and the sponsors are not responsible for incurring costs for any medical expenses; 

6) I shall disclose to race officials relevant medical data relating to me/my ward as required to appropriately manage and/or treat emergency medical issues; 

7) In case of any illness or injury caused to me or my ward or death suffered by me or my ward due to any force majeure event including but not limited to fire; riots or other civil disturbances, earthquakes, storms, typhoons or security issues, I confirm that I shall not hold liable the sponsors of the event or any political entities or authorities and officials or any contractors or construction farms working on or near the course, or any of the Let's Get Fit for Elections 2022 organizing committee persons, officials or volunteers or NRS Sports Foundation Pvt. Ltd. or any other person or entities associated with the event or directors, employees, agents or representatives of all or any of the aforementioned;

8) Understand, agree and irrevocably permit NRS Sports Foundation to share the information given by me/my ward in this application, with all/ any entities associated with the Let's Get Fit for Elections 2022, at its own discretion;

9) Understand, agree and irrevocably permit NRS Sports Foundation Pvt. Ltd. to use my/my wards photograph and/or video from the event which may be photographed on race day and/ or during the Let's Get Fit for Elections 2022, for the sole purpose of promoting the Let's Get Fit for Elections 2022 and NRS Sports Foundation, at its own discretion;

10) I/ my ward understand and agree to the events and guidelines.
