The new Jaguar F-Type with a Shooting Brake body has been revealed in the first renders.

Independent renders from Sugar Design, which depicted the Jaguar F-Type in Shooting Brake bodywork, have hit the web.

We remember, Jaguar will soon cease production of the F-Type sports car, so these sketches can be called «farewell».

A limited edition version of the Speedster, called Project 7, was also built within a short time.

One of the body styles that Jaguar never experimented with was the Shooting Brake. That’s what Sugar Design settled on.

The front of the car is typical of the F-Type, but the roof has been widened and flows seamlessly into the steeply sloped rear window.

A unique dual roof spoiler is also present, while much of the rear fascia has been left untouched compared to the regular F-Type.

If Jaguar ever built a Shooting Brake version of the F-Type, it probably wouldn’t sell in large numbers, making it difficult to get such a model into production. However, no one is stopping tuners from taking on such a project.

The two-door station wagon or Shooting Brake is one of the most suitable body types for the F-Type sports car, which the Jaguar model will never really have.

These days, the number of models that are produced in the stylish but forgotten 2-door station wagon or shooting brake body is minimal. Yes, Mercedes-Benz has the CLA Shooting Brake, and Kia recently introduced the ProCeed, but still they are more conventional station wagons.

Perhaps, the last «real» shooting brake was a two-door station wagon based on the Aston Martin Vanquish S made with 99 copies by Zagato.

Friend of Motor1.com designer Ryan Pryce imagined how a stylish Jaguar F-Type sports car could look in the shooting brake body. The artist used the almost flagship version of the F-Type R as the basis and transformed it into a station wagon, albeit virtually.
