🌞MY REVIEW🌞

The Dalmatian Dilemma is a charming story that follows Reyna Montero and Sean Wakefield as they find love. I
loved the characters and the plot. These two were a good match. The characters are very likable, fun and interesting. You're going to fall for Stean right off the bat. Dottie the deaf fire house dog stole my heart. The Book moves at a good pace and all of the characters are well developed and likeable.By the time the story ended I wanted more. This book made me laugh and smile. Which is something i very much needed.
Can't wait to read the other books in this series. This is Definitely a good 4 star read. If you are looking for a great romance story to pull at your heartstrings this story is for you. This was my first time reading a book by Cheryl Harper. Another in the Veterans' Road series, in which Reyna Montero is running a program for returned vets to assist them after they are no longer in the military. She is there because her father forced her to manage the program after she gets out of the Air Force, but what she really wants is to become a firefighter. One of the vets she depends on to manage some of the repairs is Sean Wakefield. He's also training a service dog and wants to expand the program from one to several.

Then Reyna passes the tests and is certified first as an EMT and then as a full-fledged firefighter. Her first job is to take on the training and taming of an oversized Dalmation dog, to be used when talking at schools about fire safety and the like. But Reyna knows nothing about training dogs, and this particular dog is deaf. She turns to Sean to help her and thus begins the development of what had already been there, but like a simmering stew, relatively unrecognized.

All is going swimmingly, both for the veterans they are helping in so many ways, and at the firehouse until Reyna's too-controlling father becomes aware of the many ways in which Reyna and her sister have broken the rules their papa has insisted they follow. The upshot is he's going to shut them down, fire them from what they have been doing, including making Reyna quit the fire house and get rid of the dogs now being training as service dogs.

How this gets worked out is a tribute both to firefighters and to service dogs. What a cool combination!

4 1/2 STARS!

Sweet and satisfying! With book two in her Veterans' Road series Cheryl Harper takes us on a journey of making dreams come true with THE DALMATION DILEMMA. The cast is fresh and good hearted, the plot is full of turmoil yet goodness and the dog is an adorable addition to it all. I was left wanting a more developed conclusion to the story, but I really enjoyed the characters and the story overall.

Reyna Montero is a great character. She's self-assured and accomplished and she truly cares about the people she sets out to help. Watching her learn to stand up for her dreams was really special.

Sean Wakefield is such a good guy! The reader is half in love from him the first time he steps foot on the pages, so it doesn't take much to have us under his spell fully. He's kind, he's approachable and he's the most deserving guy around.

I highly recommend this story to anyone who enjoys a sweet romance with easy to connect with characters. Lots of laughs, an adorable dog and just enough suspense to keep us turning the pages to see what the outcome would be.

The Dalmatian Dilemma penned by Cheryl Harper was truly a heartwarming novel filled with fabulous characters, an interesting plot that held my interest throughout. I genuinely liked Reyna Montero, she knows what she wants and she is willing to work hard to achieve her goals. Sean Wakefield became my favorite character from the beginning, he is such a sweet, kind guy who captured my heart.

There is an entire cast of characters to spend a few days getting to know because as I read each page, I could imagine the conversations they had, what was going on in their lives and how they felt about certain situations. Oh and the adorable dog added to my overall enjoyment of this book. This is the first book that I have read by Ms. Harper but it wont be the last. I highly recommend this well written and delightful romance.
I received an e-copy of this novel. All opinions are completely my own.

Air Force Officer, Reyna Monterey wants to be a firefighter but her dad wants her to run a program for veterans, to help them return to life after their career ends in the military. Sean Wakefield wants to train service dogs to help vets. Reyna passes the test and is going to be a firefighter. She has to take care of an oversized Dalmatian, who’s deaf. She ask Sean for help. They train the dog and they realize that they have chemistry. What can go wrong? Will she let her overbearing dad run her life? Can her sister step in? Will Reyna stand up for herself. Will she and Sean fall in love? I loved this story so much. Cheryl Harper does it again. I recommend this book.

The Dalmatian Dilemma is the second book in Cheryl Harper’s Veterans’ Road series. This is a book with complicated relationships. The contrast between Reyna Montero’s family and Sean Wakefield’s family is very diverse. Reyna’s father manipulates his children to do what he thinks is best for them. Sean’s grandma is into food and dancing. Add into the mix a deaf firehouse dalmation needing to be trained, makes this a book you won’t forget in a hurray. Enjoyed this story immensely and liked how the author worked it all out in a wonderful way.
