Tysons Community Vaccination Center to Offer Evening Hours; Site Slated to Close June 26
Beginning Tuesday, June 8, the Tysons Community Vaccination Center (CVC) will operate until 8 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. COVID-19 vaccination appointments on Tuesdays and Thursdays can be made as late as 7:45 p.m.
The Tysons CVC is offering the Pfizer vaccine for people 12 years of age and older. In addition, the site also offers the Johnson & Johnson vaccine to people 18 years and older who request it. Extended evening hours two nights a week expands access to obtaining the COVID-19 vaccine for those who are unable to visit during the day.
Located in the former Lord & Taylor at 7950 Tysons Corner Center, McLean, VA 22102, this site is easily accessible by several bus routes and located within walking distance of the Tysons Corner Metro station along the Silver Line.

In addition to walk-in appointments, residents may also schedule an appointment on the Health Department’s website or by calling the call center at 703-324-7404.
The Tysons CVC is organized by the Virginia Department of Emergency Management (VDEM) and the Virginia Department of Health (VDH) in cooperation with the Fairfax County Health Department and the Fairfax County Office of Emergency Management. The site is operated by Ashbritt/IEM, under contract with VDEM.
The last day to make an appointment or walk in for a COVID-19 vaccine at the Tysons CVC is Saturday, June 26.
COVID-19 vaccine will continue to be available at locations throughout the Fairfax Health District, including private healthcare providers, pharmacies, grocery stores, urgent cares and the Health Department. Visit the Health Department’s website to schedule an appointment or go to vaccines.gov.
