The UFO Phenomenon

US military has evidence of supersonic UFOs

Former intelligence chief John Ratcliffe claims that the US has evidence of objects moving at extreme speeds.
Videos of US Navy pilot encounters with UAPs (unexplained aerial phenomena) have been at the center of a surge of renewed interest in UFOs in recent years, with the US government confirming not only the validity of the videos but also the existence of the recently established Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force (UAPTF).

Now John Ratcliffe - who served as Donald Trump's Director of National Intelligence - has spoken out by claiming that the United States has even more evidence of mystery objects that can not only move at incredible speeds but also perform maneuvers that should be impossible for any of today's aircraft.

"There are a lot more sightings than have been made public," he told Fox News.

"Some of those have been declassified. And when we talk about sightings, we are talking about objects that have seen by Navy or Air Force pilots, or have been picked up by satellite imagery that frankly engage in actions that are difficult to explain."
"Movements that are hard to replicate that we don't have the technology for. Or traveling at speeds that exceed the sound barrier without a sonic boom."

Such objects, he claimed, have been sighted all across the world.

"When we talk about sightings, the other thing I will tell you is, it's not just a pilot or just a satellite, or some intelligence collection," he said.

"Usually we have multiple sensors that are picking up these things, and some of these are unexplained phenomenon, and there is actually quite a few more than have been made public."

Given that the Pentagon is required to provide full disclosure on the topic within as little as three months from now, we could see a lot more of this evidence in the not-too-distant future.

No, we don't. First up, bear in mind that there are numerous amateur astro-photographers that are pushing the absolute limits of optics,as well as the lelectronic processing techniques that can 'enhance' the optical images.  Problem is there are some things you just can't get past, eg the required size of the lenses or mirrors, atmospheric issues, stability issues, and so on.  Some things can be helped a little with electronic processing, eg taking multiple images and then averaging them, but from orbit the simple fact is that we are now at the best possible limit of about 6" (15cm) resolu... How can they show that an object they cant identify is the most dangerous form of transport there is?

Why is it that - despite almost EVERYBODY having a video camera in their pocket, the number of 'sightings' hasn't significantly increased ?

You cant take a pix of what doesnt exist and while a blurry out of focus shot of a micky mouse balloon might have been fine decades back its laughed at today.

To show how significant the pocket video cameras are, last night there was a fireball over the Pacific Northwest and at least three people got it on video.

I wonder... are we so seriously arrogant and self-absorbed as to think NOTHING intelligent beyond ourselves exists in this incredibly vast universe? That's narcissistic.
