When thinking about this review I wondered if I actually had a favourite, and had difficulty in pulling one from the bunch. However, the one that did keep jumping into my mind was Homecoming.
Yet again we get to see what the rough sarcastic exterior hides (or at least Ian thinks it hides as everyone knows he really is a softy 😊) as he and Charlotte make a home for their adopted daughter Tash. Truly emotional. But not only that, it suddenly brought us into what was happening in 2020.
Month Four - “Is it Thursday?” Charlie stared out into the backyard. “Because I thought yesterday was Thursday.”Oh how I remember those days 😊“Nope.” He was right there with her. “It’s Thursday.” He was pretty sure every day was Thursday now.
Month Five - Thursday. It was always Thursday.
Month Seven - Thursday with sourdough.
Month Eight - Masks sucked and it was Thursday again, and now he had to go out into the fucking world for a physical. He hated doctors.
