Back vintage re-release

Sourced from the regeneratively farmed 100 Hunts Road block in Tuerong, the 2017 Syrah received 97 points from James Halliday in the Wine Companion. Matured in 35% new French oak and a 675L concrete egg.

Elegant and composed, the 2017 Portsea Estate Syrah’s nose is full of classical cool climate white pepper and spice, along with plum and red and blue fruits. Though still powerful, the palate has become even more integrated over time with blueberries and clove apparent, along with fine tannins.
