This event is open to current curriculum students and alumni pursuing careers in: Engineering, Architectural Technology, Biopharmaceutical Technology, Civil Engineering Technology, Electronics Engineering Technology, Geomatics Technology, Interior Design, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Construction Management Technology and Biotechnology.

• All candidates should dress professionally and upload resumes before the event

Preparation is the key to making a successful presentation at any job or career fair.

To make the most of the event, we recommend that you:

• Bring a current resume with up-to-date employment history and educational background. Be sure the degree you are working on at Wake Tech is listed first in the Education section of your resume.
• Prepare a "30 to 45 second commercial" to introduce yourself to employers in response to, "Tell me about yourself."
• Thoroughly research your "core" companies and gain background information upon which you can base your conversations with the company representatives.
• Dress professionally and look your best-like you are attending a job interview

Follow up with Employers

After the event, you should make it a point to follow up with an email expressing your interest in the company and in what they have to offer. Thank you or follow up letters should be received by the employer within 2-3 days after an event.
