FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason women's volleyball team will complete its' regular season on the road at Fordham this weekend, with matches scheduled for Friday at 6 p.m. and Saturday at 2 p.m.
Fordham holds a slight 6-9 all-time record over Mason, including seven of the last 10. The two teams split last year's home/away series, with Mason winning the last time out at home on Oct. 22, 2021, 3-1.
The Rams are coming off a two-loss weekend against Saint Louis, falling 3-1 and 3-0 at home. The Patriots also fell twice last weekend on the road at Davidson.
PATRIOT POINTS
- Sophomore Olyvia Kennedy continues to lead the Mason offense as she has for most of the season, tallying 247 kills at a .228 clip.
- Graduate student Peyton Ehmke leads the Patriots with 93 blocks in 2022. The middle blocker needs just four more blocks to set a new personal best of blocks in a season (96, 2018).
- Freshman Gabriella Gelfound and sophomore Damiana Bova-Ford pace the Mason offense with 446 and 373 assists, respectively. Gelfound also leads the Patriots with 28 service aces.
- Senior Stephanie Der leads Mason with 377 digs so far this season. She currently sits in fourth all-time at George Mason for career digs (1,138) with a chance to move into fifth all-time for digs in a season during this weekend's matches. Her 4.33 digs/set are good for fourth in the A-10.

Whitley Moody leads the Rams on offense this year, tallying 358 kills for 3.62/set (2
nd, A-10) while Audrey Brown is second on the team with 285. Mallory Lipski leads Fordham on defense with 474 digs for an A-10-third-best 4.79/set and Chloe Pejouan is averaging 1.10 blocks/set (4
th, A-10) for 108 total blocks. Setter Megan Brzozowski paces the offense with 809 assists (8.17/set; 3
rd, A-10).
