Lake Highlands High School grad Chris Harrison is host of ABC’s long-running dating series “The Bachelor,” and die-hard fans watched another LHHS grad, country music star Granger Smith, serenade Becca Kuffrin and one of her suitors on a 2018 episode of “The Bachelorette.” This season, Wildcat World will come full circle as Granger’s little brother, Tyler, romances the newest Bachelorette, Clare Crawley.

On Facebook Wednesday, show producers released photos of 42 potential bachelor contestants, and they asked fans to leave comments and red rose emojis for the guys they liked best. Let’s just say “Tyler S.” is an early favorite.

Granger, Tyler and Parker, the youngest brother, grew up in Lake Highlands and attended Northlake Elementary. The family later moved to Highland Park, and Tyler graduated from Highland Park High School and Rice University.

The coronavirus pandemic delayed production of The Bachelorette, but filming is expected to resume shortly now that Crawley’s potential matches have been named. No word if Granger will make an appearance to help Tyler get the girl.
