Global Adventurer Program We are proud to share that AFS has launched a new and all virtual peer-learning program for teens to develop crucial 21st-century skills like increasing flexibility, coping with challenges, building empathy and more. At a me when understanding others is more important than ever, this new online program, AFS Global You Adventurer, enables young minds to explore the world from home, make new friends, build their global skills, and become an Ac ve Global Ci zen. As volunteers, parents, or educators associated with AFS, who know how important it is for children to build their intercultural and global competence, we encourage you to spread the word about this opportunity!
AFS Global You Adventurer helps young students 14 to 17 years old discover - How to stand up for issues they really care about and help make the world a be er place, - How to be part of a global community of people passionate about making a difference, - What makes differences between cultures important and beau ful, - Why we all need to build our empathy muscles, - How to avoid jumping to conclusions, and - What to do about inequali es they encounter. - and more Par cipants who complete the program will receive the award-winning AFS Global Competence Cer ficate to help them stand apart, prepare for their future studies and work, and become a member of the lifelong, lifechanging AFS global network. Plus, they’ll be eligible for a discount on future study abroad programs with AFS.

Since it is a fully interna onally run program, fees must be paid in USD. Scholarship for the students of AFS Member Schools, member of the AFS Community, volunteers' kids, AFS alumni - They are eligible to par cipate at the special AFSer tui on price of USD 285 (regular tui on USD 315). Eligibility Criteria - Be 14-17 years old but not 18 or older by the start of the Program - Have interest in cultural differences, global affairs, sustainable development, and youth issues - Have proficiency in English (ability to read wri en content including videos sub tled in English, comment in forums, and understand the live sessions) Enrolment and Payment Method You can enrol for the program for your suitable batch by filling a simple online form.

Awardees must accept or decline the scholarship award in wri ng (via email and by following up as instructed online).
