Cars that don’t age
Discussion
Came out of the drive this morning and parked opposite was a Nissan GTR. To my eyes it still looks as good as when I first saw one in Tokyo back in 2007. Quite an achievement for a car 14 years old as to me most cars look great when launched but they age fairly quickly. Perhaps it is because I rarely see GTRs so not suffering from over exposure.
Any other car still look as fresh now as when they were launched?

23 years old (launched in 1998!) and still looking pretty sharp. I know this stuff is subjective but I always loved the Mk1 TT.
Also in before someone says something stupid like the Saab 900 or the RO-80

Personally I think the original R8 looks really fresh still. It’s a very uncluttered design especially compared to the latest cars.
The original Z4 had aged really well to my eyes too.

Your one-off 'throwback' kind of cars are good at this. Something like the Nissan Figaro which is a sort of slightly classic looking body dumped onto a Micra chassis is completely ageless.
The RX-8 is quite timeless, probably because it has a generic shape that doesn't tie it to a particular designer or trend.
The test of a design is to guess what year it was introduced and then look it up. Does the 306 look like a 1993 design?
