A student of violinist Nathan Milstein, Clayton Haslop was concertmaster in the recording studios of Los Angeles for composers including James Horner and Michael Giacchino. His violin solos can be heard in films including Ratatouille and Up.

But Haslop also struggled with Focal Dystonia, leaving him with the use of only 2 fingers on his left hand. Instead of quitting the violin he learnt to play with two fingers, re-learning Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto in the process - as this video demonstrates.
