Mexican American Council hosting Family Fun Day

SAGINAW, MI – The Mexican American Council, in collaboration with LIUNA Local 1098, Saginaw ISD and New Beginnings Church, is hosting a free Family Fun Day Sunday, July 25.

The event is scheduled to take place from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Mexican American Cultural Center, 1537 S. Washington St.

Festivities will include children’s games, bounce houses, a balloon man, face painting, slime making, and a chance for kids to climb aboard a fire truck. There will also be hot dogs, chips and cookies.

Participating organizations include LIUNA Local 1098, Saginaw ISD, New Beginnings Church, Delta College, Saginaw Valley State University, Wanigas, Jolt, Saginaw Police Department, Women’s Gi Forum, La Union Civica Mexicana, Great Lakes Bay Health Centers, Clean Team, Walt Fitzpatrick Tax Service, Que Sabroso, and Bully Organization, according to event organizers.

Saginaw ISD will distribute free books, and New Beginnings Church will provide free coats. Event attendees will also have a chance to win a Target gift card.
