GnashVegas Preview-web

Dress in your Y2K best for a night at the casino.
The Nashville Predators Foundation empowered by SmileDirectClub will bring competition, excitement and mustard-colored spectacle to the Bridgestone Arena floor at the GnashVegas Casino Night & Auction presented by King Jewelers, this year featuring a unique Reverse Retro-inspired Y2K theme hearkening back to the team's younger days.
The special evening, back for its ninth year after a three-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, has the added bonus of having all 23 members of Nashville's roster in attendance - several of which have never attended a GnashVegas event before.
"We have missed hosting events where the players are there," Vice President of Community Relations Rebecca King said. "But we also have a lot of new guys that signed recently that fans have never had the chance to meet. This will be the opportunity for people to be able to engage and meet them and have a conversation."

As guests arrive donning their best Mustard Cat jerseys and ready to mix and mingle with their favorite NHL players, they'll also find plenty of great food, drink and one-of-a-kind silent auction items.
Of course, it wouldn't be a casino night without games, and like years past, there will be plenty to choose from.
Want to find out who the best blackjack player on the team is? Challenge Roman Josi to a hand of poker? Go right ahead.
"Fans can engage and go play different games] with all the players," King said. "And they'll have an opportunity to see a different side of them without having a sheet of glass in between them."
More of a video game connoisseur? You're in luck.
New to GnashVegas this year will be a Nintendo Wii Mario Kart station manned by several of the team's most avid gamers - a certain mustachioed Swedish forward among them.
Fun and games aside, the evening allows the Preds Foundation another fantastic opportunity to raise money for hundreds of Middle Tennessee's most deserving non-profit organizations.
In fact, across its previous eight years, GnashVegas has raised more than $1 million in funds.
"For us, the biggest importance is putting on a premium, first class event to raise money for the Foundation," King said. "Our goal every year is to raise as much money as we can so we can then distribute as much money as we can."
GnashVegas officially returns Wednesday, Feb. 8 at 6:30 p.m. - or 5:30 p.m. for guests with VIP tickets - at Bridgestone Arena.
