APD homicide detectives investigating death outside NE ABQ motel

Homicide detectives are investigating after a man was found dead in front of a Northeast Albuquerque motel Monday morning. Gilbert Gallegos, a spokesman for the Albuquerque Police Department, identified the man who was killed as 26-year-old Marcus Bowman. Gallegos said around 8 a.m. officers were called to a shooting at Motel 1 on Candelaria just east of Interstate 25. “An individual was located on the sidewalk and was declared deceased,” he added. He did not say if there are any suspects.
