I understand what Kendrick Perkins is saying.
He was put in a bad spot by ESPN. It wasn’t his responsibility to speak on the situation between Rachel Nichols and Maria Taylor.
ESPN should have never had two black men caping for Nichols. They shouldn’t have had to say anything, to be honest. The problem Perk is having now is he is still talking.
He was on Twitter spaces explaining why he had to play both sides of the fence because he likes his job at ESPN.
He is being honest, maybe a bit too honest, but honest nevertheless.
Perk likes his job and the direct deposit that is hitting each month.
My advice to him is stop speaking on it and if ESPN asks him to speak on it again he should decline.
